Struggle for Azeroth: Dalaran City

Map Info:

Dalaran is a magocratic city-state which is located by the Lordamere Lake on the Alterac Mountains shore in the Eastern Kingdoms. The Kirin Tor rule the single city. Its inner fortress has served as the focal point for magi and study of the arcane.

Features:

Race Changes:
  1. 2 New Heroes
  2. Glyph Upgrades
  3. Other modifications to keep up with current lore

New Races:
  1. Burning Legion (Can be chosen when playing Undead)
  2. Old God Minions (Can be chosen when playing Night Elf)
  3. Dark Horde (Can be chosen when playing Orc)
  4. Eastern Horde (Can be chosen when playing Human)

New Races cannot be chosen when food costs exceed 5. Therefore, enabling Random Heroes for the game disallows the choosing of alternate Races even for the AI. It is also recommended that you do not issue commands on starting units until the selection has shown up.

Neutral Units:
  1. Archeologist - Sells various Artifacts
  2. Collector - Sells various Unique items
  3. Exchanger - Exchanges gold for lumber and vice versa
  4. Innkeeper - Allows you to resurrect Heroes instantly
  5. Merchant - Sells various magic items
  6. Oracle - Allows you to reveal an area of the map and detect invisible units
  7. Priestess - Regenerates the health and mana of all non-mechanical units nearby
  8. Trainer - Helps your Heroes become more powerful

  1. After my Battle for Supremacy series was rejected, I decided to remake everything from scratch. This time, I made sure that anything I added was unique in its own way and not just a clone of something existing as much as possible.

Comment: Nice map, races are more or less balanced well, AI works fine as well. But I don't like terrain, I expected more.

Hero Contest #6 - Winner: Alora, the Priestess of Moonlight was found to be the most succesful defender against the Armies of the Burning Legion! A hero by -Kobas-. Former Staff Member: This user used to be on the Hive Workshop staff. Hero Contest #5 - Winner: Stormbringer was -Kobas-'s entry, who incorporated lightnings as the power of future weaponry. Despite the instability of lightnings, this entry was stable enough to be approved by judges and public. Playing it as we speak, and have been for a good hour now. Love the map, it's great. The only complaints I have so far, (having played both NE and both undead) are:

1) You use names of lore and WoW NPCs for heroes. I doubt that's the real Prince Malchezaar I'm playing as, lol.
2) For the Houndmaster, you should switch the models around for Full Manifestation. His default model should be the Manifestation model, to match the Kiljaeden icon, and the Manifestation model should be the default. Makes sense right? If you go super saiyan as a demon you start giving off glowing fire and your eyes burn. ;)

Just a tip:
-Test a Map with AI Editor (Melee of Course)
-Go to Warcraft III Properties
-Scroll Down until you see a new folder.
-open folder,inside you will see an AI file named "WorldEditTestGame.ai"
-open it with Notepad
-if you want your map a ai(because its melee)customize the code.(ex.unit ids,ability ids of your map,etc.)
-import it to your map
-PM me if im wrong

1) Haha. I suck at making up names so I had to "steal" some from WOW and even outside sources.
2) My take on the models are different. The "normal" Houndmaster is transparent because he hasn't fully entered the physical realm yet. Upon "Full Manifestation", he appears to have fully entered the realm.
