Sages of Dustwallow is a spawn based strategy map centered in the region of dustwallow marsh.

It is created by XX_Noob.

Team One - The Alliance
Theramore City

Theramore City controls obviously Theramore city, their main enemies is Defias and Nagas, they are the strongest player ingame, excluding Black Dragonflight, they can take 2 players down if they are strategisk, but so can they be taken down by 2 players if they are strategisk.

Quagmire Population

The Quagmire Population is far away from Theramore City and Theramore Brigade, they lie spread out in the Quagmire, they have one spawn at the start, Tabetha's Farm, they get Nat's Landing 10 minutes into the game, first becomes active 10 minutes later if it survives, their main enemy is the Deserters, they will try to destroy Shady Rest Inn, if Quagmire Population does not defend it, it will fall into the deserters hands.

Theramore Brigade

Theramore Brigade is focused on defending much in the start, if they make any offensive moves, it can resolve in their own destruction, they are weak at the start, but have good defensive positions and can easily trap enemies in the swamps. Their main enemy is the Grimtotem Taurens, they can however be disturbed by the defias and/or nagas, but then Theramore City should come to the rescue. Theramore Brigade has control of the SI:7 and the most outer watch tower in dustwallow occupied by theramore.

Team Two - The Horde
Goblins

The Goblins of Mudsprocket is based in the most southern parts of the Quagmire, They should do a lot of hit n' run attacks on the black dragonflight, however, their passage is limited, only after 10 minute can they get direct passage to Onyxia's Lair, untill then they need to go through the Den of Flames and Stonemaul Ruins, which wont be done easily, they are heavily in need of Brackenwall, or else they will be destroyed. Their main enemy is the black dragonflight.

Brackenwall Village

Brackenwall Village is the remaining ogres from the stonemaul clan, assisted by the orcs and trolls, they have built a new base, they control Ogres, Trolls and Orcs, They need to use the Brackenwall Zeppelin to get to Mudsprocket Zeppelin to help them withstand and destroy the black dragonflight, whom are their main enemy, attacking the black dragonflight without Mudsprocket is very unwise.

Deserters

The Deserters of Theramore control Lost Point and can gain Shady Rest Village if they can capture it within 10 minutes of the game start. Also if Private Hendel dies, he will be captured by the theramore brigade and after 5 minutes he will flee, creating the village of Lordamore and joining the deserters. Their main enemy is the Quagmire Population.

The Defias sailed to Kalimdor and captured Varian Wrynn, yet he escaped and he is being held captive somewhere unknown, the defias are focused on destroying and sabotating Theramore, they have bases and outposts along the coast, their main enemy is Theramore City, however, recently Edwin VanCleff and his loyal tauren, Smite has arrived, it turns out that he is not dead afterall.

Systems
Upgrades

All factions have an upgradeable ability for all their units (not heroes)

All people near the sea have - Ocean Strength.
All people in the quagmire but the black dragonflight - Marshland Regeneration.
All people not near the sea and not in the quagmire - Mainland Fortitude
Black Dragonflight - Draconic Disease.

And here is what the abilities do.

- Ocean Strength: Increases damage dealt by 7%.
- Marshland Regeneration: Increases hit point regeneration by 1.5.
- Mainland Fortitude: Increases armor by 2.
- Draconic Disease: Deals 3 damage per second to all nearby enemy units within a 150 radius.


Mercenaries

There are several groups of mercenaries, they control camp, the camp spawns some units, all camps spawn the same type of unit, and all camps and its towers and its healing buildings can be captured upon reaching 1000 hit points. These be may be neutral hostile controlled or player controlled.

Current Camps:
Inspector Camp, Controlled by Quagmire Population (Blue)
Infiltrator Camp, Controlled by Theramore Deserters (Purple)

There will be added more camps in later versions.


Naval Combat

Battleships, Attack Turtles & Juggernaught are the three flagships available, battleship for human races, attack turtle for nagas, and juggernaught for the rest, they have high siege damage, minor splash and it shoots out 1 arrow that deals 10 damage every 0.25 seconds.

Frigates & Greater Couatl are the two support ships, greater couatl for nagas and frigates for the rest. they have medium siege damage, they do not have splash, they shoot out 1 arrow that deals 10 damage every 0.50 seconds.

Naval Defensive Tower is the defend tower against ships, they protect Oil Plants, there are 4 naval build plots around each oil plant for which you can build them on. They have medium siege damage and the range of a flagship, they shoot out 1 arrow that deals 10 damage every 0.75 seconds.

In the sea you fight for control of Oil Plants, they increase your mineral income greatly, right now its not that useful on the mainland, but will become that in later versions, its primarily for the sea in the current version.


Resources
Naval Resources

Oil Plant is the non upgraded sea resource, it gives 50 minerals every 2 minutes and 30 seconds, can be upgraded to a Steel Enforced Oil Plant, upgrading it requires that you control a lumbermill and an iron mine.

Steel Enforced Oil Plant is an upgraded oil plant, it produces 125 minerals every 2 minutes and 30 seconds, can be upgraded to a Thorium Enforced Oil Plant, upgrading it requires that you control a war mil annd a thorim mine.

Thorium Enforced Oil Plant is an upgraded oil plant, it produces 200 minerals every 2 minutes and 30 seconds, can be upgraded to a Magical Enforced Oil Plant, upgrading it requires that you control a war mill, thorium mine, you can only upgrade it if you do not have a magical enforced oil plant already, but you can capture others still.

Magical Enforced Oil Plant is the fully upgraded oil plant, it produces 500 minerals every 2 minutes and 30 seconds, cannot be upgraded.

Land Resources

Lumber is gained by capturing lumber mills, war mills or other buildings alike, they will generate x amount of lumber every 2 and 30 seconds. minutes, the more you have, the more lumber you get.

Lumber is used to construct ships, repair healing buildings and also helping to repair bases, it is also used to construct all buildings.

Minerals is gained by capturing different mines, Copper, Tin, Iron, Mithril, Thorium Mines, each of the different mines will generate more minerals, copper is the worst and thorium is the best, there will start by being only copper mines, but you can upgrade them to tin, then iron, then mithril and then thorium, and when captured they do not reset, so you should defend your mines, you will gain the minerals every 2 minutes, the more you have, the more minerals you get.

Minerals is used to construct healing buildings and defensive towers together with lumber, it is also used to repair defensive towers and help to repair bases.

Veins and Deposits will be implented, there will be Copper, Tin, Iron, Mithril and Thorum Veins/Deposits, when you kill one you gain an amount of gold, each 5 minutes the veins/deposits will be upgrade, copper>tin>iron>mithril>thorum, but whenever a vein/deposit is killed it will 5 minutes later respawn as a copper vein.

Pillaging is something that will help you gain resources by attack the enemy, each time you destroy a building (not capture) you will gain an amount of resources.

Looting is another way to gain resources, each time you kill a unit you gain 1 minerals for killing them, you do not need nearly as much minerals as you do with lumber, so it is a great bonus, considering there will be big armies walking around.

Mechanical Destruction is the third and last way to gain resources by destruction, when you destroy a catapult (depending on if it use lumber or minerals to its construction) you will gain lumber or minerals for killing it.

Build Plots there will be build plots for the construction of a special tower, it can be upgraded twice, first upgrade causes it to gain more damage and health and armor, second upgrade causes it to gain 3 additional arrows, more health and more armor, these can useally be found near resource buildings.

if it is to blokade the road it doesn't work because units can walk over the mountains pass it.

and the game is laggy but i think you already knew that.
and share units with empty ally spots is strange.

screenies 1-3# i said int he above posts, this map got fucked up by some optimizer, and therefor much of it is bugged

also the map got a bad trigger, else it hardly creates any lag.
and why is strange that you can control of people who aint in the game?
