General Introduction

245014-albums8117-picture97257.jpg
This is a WCIII custom campaign presented by my group Destiny Studios, which is named after the campaign series - The Road of Destiny. The first of the series, Lonely Star of Ashenvale, has been produced and presented hereby.

245014-albums8117-picture97258.jpg
The campaign is about Night Elves after The Frozen Throne. Our story begins as the Warsong Clan launch an attack on Southern Ashenvale. The heroine is called Kastie Moonsong, a former family member of Shandris Feathermoon but now has been on her own. The campaign shows her experiences during the war between night elves and orcs. As she engages deeper and deeper in the war something unusual will be uncovered and she will eventually decide to march on her lonely road to seek destiny.

245014-albums8117-picture97259.jpg
Kastie has many friends, though, at least before she choose her lonely road of destiny. Therefore we have a few supporting roles in the campaign. These heros and heroines will not show up all together in a single chapter, but separately in several chapters, creating different combinations with Kastie for different types of tasks.

245014-albums8117-picture97260.jpg
Except for a couple of RTS quests that are not very complicated, most of the main quests are RPG type. You control one or multiple heroes to accomplish the request of an NPC, and to conquer bosses in your way. Some of the bosses will be really tough. Fortunately there're lots of unnoticeable trinkets hidden in the maps that, if you are carefully enough to find them, can be combined into mighty artifacts which help greatly in the boss fights.

245014-albums8117-picture97261.jpg
Satyrs, the major foes in Chapter One, provide actually the easiest boss fight through out the campaign. Though their strike on the night elves may pull you back from leisure all of a sudden and push you into a fluster. In the following few chapters, facing much harder bosses one after another you may feel frustrated in the boss fights but trust me, as long as you think carefully enough you'll always find the key to the problem. Know that some of my testers never use the keyboard but still win the hardest boss fight through outmanovouring.

245014-albums8117-picture97262.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97263.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97264.jpg
When you're not fighting tough enemies, I would suggest that you enjoy the beautiful landscape on your way. The Landscape is one of my proudest work, especially those in Chapter One and Five showing Teldrassil and Astranaar, respectively. I won't boast more but you'll see them once you enter the maps.

245014-albums8117-picture97265.jpg
Some NPCs do not provide tasks. Instead, they tell you background stories that are not mentioned in the quests but you may be interested in. Some NPCs just talk to you and make amusing dialogues. You may also try to find other uses for them, like this one - do you feel difficult to tackle the creeps when Kastie is at low level? Want a helper?

245014-albums8117-picture97266.jpg
Kastie is not the only one who has stories. As her story goes it comes across the stories of others'. The supporting roles may recall and tell you their experiences, which lead you to submaps with different style of landscape and different heroes, and perhaps rewards. To help the quest go on smoother, I suggest you keep track of the story by checking the Message Log regularly, as some of the dialogue may be neglected in battle.

245014-albums8117-picture97267.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97268.jpg
245014-albums8117-picture97269.jpg
There're optional quests in every chapter. Completing them may reward you with good items, bonus hero or new spells.

245014-albums8117-picture97270.jpg
There're also hidden quests in some chapters. The hidden quests won't show up in the quest list so you'll have to bear them in mind. The demonstrated one here is related to World of Warcraft. You may have heard a sad story about Cerellean Whiteclaw and his dead wife Anaya.

245014-albums8117-picture97271.jpg
Hereby I acknowledge Scipio, the translator in my group. It was because of him that the campaign can be posted in the Hive Workshop, as it was not in English originally. Without anyone else who could help on the translation, he worked on my whole campaign - the lines, the units, the item, the spells, and the effects ... all by himself. I appreciate his huge and elaborate efforts so much.

Summary of Features

Stories
The campaign includes all kinds of stories. The quests lead you into stories. The characters tell you their stories. Even items develop stories as they combine and upgrade. I hope you'll enjoy them, as I believe a campaign is not merely about fighting or gathering artifacts.

Music and Landscape
As mentioned above, the landscape is my pride. I'm also quite satisfied with the music. In the last few maps I fit the selected music with the plot. Hopefully these efforts provide you with better game experiences.

Custom Spells and Items
Most of the spells and items are self-designed. A lot of items can be upgraded to cast new spells or combined into mighty artifact that may change the tide of battle. The 2nd author of the campaign Floating Gravestone contributes to the design and optimization of spells and items.

Credits

The credit list of my group members is in-game. Here I don't repeat it but focus on credits out of my group.
I've chosen a few pieces of WOW music and so I'll give that credit to Blizzard.
I imported over 300 models and skins, most of which were from the Hive Workshop and so I acknowledge Hive Workshop as my model and skin provider. Unfortunately due to the huge amount of imported resources and the long time I worked on the campaign, most of the author names of the individual resources are missing - I don't remember which one is whose as they all mixed up together. As a remedy, I've rummaged through the imported files and made a credit list of resource names. Anyone of you who find the resource name of your creation in my list below, you have my thanks!

In case there may still be someone missing, if anyone of you find your creation used in my campaign but the resource name does not appear here, please contact me and I'll add you in with apology and double the mount of thanks to you!

Changelog

There are no important changes by now, only a few corrections in the lines.

Known Issues

I urge you to read this part before playing, and sincerely apologize for the bugs. They'll be fixed in an optimized version of this campaign later.

Chapter Five
In the quest "Bard Song", you must first go to Paris and then Jone, or there will be errors.
Something goes wrong with the item "Avatar of Chimaera". You can neither use it nor put it in lockers or backpacks, or there will be errors.

Submap - Phantom of the Snowland
Something goes wrong with Old Brann's spell "Hold Fire". You'd better not use it, or there will be errors.

Submap - The Summit of Time
In the quest "Six Hundred Threescore and Six", only when Kastie takes the anihilation matter can the quest be completed. If Armage takes it he must pass it to Kastie before time up, or the quest will fail.

Hints in General
Reading the tips on the loading screen of the maps could be helpful.
Save the game whenever the situation is favorable, or you have to restart the whole chapter when the tide reverses.
There're secrets hiding in seemingly impassible areas, such as tiny objects potentially useful or minor paths to unknown treasuries.
Cracking the barrels, cases, and stones may benefit you.
Items dropped from some enemies are chance dependent. You can try save-load to get what you prefer.
Items are not always the higher rank the better. You'll have to find what's suitable for you.

Below are specific hints in each map. For better game experiences, I don't suggest reading them unless you have to.

When dealing with the gate protected by wisps, if you can not get the arrow through them to hit the switch, free your mind - try to find another position to round the wisps, perhaps somewhere beside the gate.
The answer to the pandaren may confuse you. If you don't want to know more about it, just remember the correct answer is the second one. You can also try the wrong answer and see where the story goes, the loss is just a costume that can be made into extra backpacks.
Anaya's purple scarf is hidden below a huge tree near Angelor Star.
Red Maple is beside a huge tree near Daughter of Nature in the Oracle Glade. When asleep he appears like a common tree but you'll find his hit point bar when dragging your mouse here and there in the nearby region.

The quest of Naga is only available before Katherine's arrival. The Scythe Mint can be found beside the rightmost wind elemental.
Again, the answer to the one that seems to be a pandaren may confuse you. Just remember he's an enemy, so don't please him.

In the quest of assassination, you can try to remember the position of the orcish general and shoot him beyond the hill, you can keep a proper distance from him and click Hide immediately after shooting, or you can send summoned units against him. The key is to attack him without letting them see you.
In the quest of infiltration, at the place where the paladin hide himself, there's a Synthesis Stone Lv1.
In the quest of sabotage, if you smash down the trees below the camp using the demolishers, you'll find a secret region.
When helping Brann Bronzebeard get his pass back, to the right of the ogres there seems to be a wood but it's actually passible, leading to another secret region. There's a third secret region of which the entrance is close to a huge tree and is covered by bushes.
When destroying the siege equipments, you may see that the farseer in the camp has a Legendary Synthesis Stone. You may want it but he's too formidable to tackle. What can you do? First, try to draw the other orcs to you and slay them without alerting the farseer. After clearing the path to the outside, let Kastie go to Daughter of Nature who will cast invisibility on you. Return to the farseer and choose a proper position where he's stuck, and click Hide so that he'll never see you since the time stays at midnight in this chapter. Then capture the demolishers and use them to open a very narrow path in the trees below the camp, send the demolishers in and attack the farseer beyond the hill by smashing the ground until he dies, meanwhile use the paladin to block the other orcs out. Just be sure that the demolishers are not harming Kastie, and stop them in time so as not to destroy the item the farseer drops. This method is found by my testers and I admire their cleverness.
In the final boss fight, focus your fire on the death knight and neglect the orcs.

If you choose to slay the death knights, after finishing the optional quest and meet Katherine in the main quest, you can return to the Tauren Shaman for help and get this bonus hero for this chapter.
If you choose to track the death knights, as you reach the road full of mines there's a passible wood to your right that hides a Synthesis Stone Lv3.
After getting through the cave beyond the fountain of mana there will be no turning back. You'd better get ready for battle before entering.
After solving the Puzzle of Butterfies, if you'd like to go to the valley for a look, first enter the goblin's beverage factory, and then find the right cave to the valley.

There are many merchants selling various materials for item combination. Walk around and see what they have.
There are also combination materials hidden beneath the stones in Grove of the Ancients.
The case containing the reward of the eccentric requires a key, which is in the Bard Song grove near the pandarens and an ancient protector.

This is probably one of the longest and most complicated hidden quests. It runs throughout the campaign. The reward "Avatar of Chimaera" is mighty but also full of bugs. Here I must apologize for it. If you just want an artifact I won't suggest you even try it, but if you are interested in completing this hidden quest, please read the hints.

Chapter One
When helping Druid Ceredwyn fight the satyrs in one of the optional quests, you can walk along the river and find several water elementals. The largest one has a chance to drop an Essence of Water. There's a treant NPC nearby. Find him and receive a task to take the Essence of Water to the Woods of Chimaera where you'll obtain the Horn of Chimaera.

Chapter Three
In the orcish siege equipment camp you'll find a shining crystal in a barrel. In one of the secret regions there's a Wild Mur'gul that has a chance to drop a golden key. Besides, In the optional quest of helping Katherine on an investigation, you can find several fire elementals in the wood below after killing the lich. The largest one has a chance to drop a golden key as well. You can acquire the golden key from either one.

Chapter Four
No matter if you choose to slay or track the death knights, you'll find a yellow statue with a flowing circle somewhere. Take the crystal with you and enter the circle to get another crystal. Enter a secret region via a rotating way gate, break through Nagas and a huge rock elemental, open an elven gate using the golden key, take the two crystals with you and enter a flowing circle, then the two crystals will combine into one.

Chapter Five
Bring the combined crystal and the Horn of Chimaera to the Chimaera Royal Roost in Grove of the Ancients and receive the task from the king of Chimaera, who asks you to find part of his body. As a supporting role Jone Ridgewell goes into a submap of her memories in Alterac Ruins, she will reach a zombie village in the way. If she manages to kill a crypt lord at the top-left corner before dawn, a bloody key will be dropped. The key is used to open a gate at the bottom-right corner and the creeps there drop the Claws of Chimaera, which should be taken back to reality so that Kastie can find it in Jone's luggage in the main map. Finally take the Horn of Chimaera, the Claws of Chimaera, and the combined crystal to the Chimaera Royal Roost and the whole hidden quest is completed and you receive the Avatar of Chimaera as a reward, which I suggest you just leave it there and never take it up.

As for the artifacts, I would say a couple of them will suffice. You don't have to get everyone of them - It's not easy. However, if you find it interesting and want to take a challenge, the formulations below may help.

I am still playing this but this is my thoughts about this campaign.

Prologue
The terrain was nice those "statues" seems nice and fits well but the terrain in the temple of the moon (Am I right?) where Tyrande is a bit sad, only one tile you used and looks awful. The cameras are good too, dialogues seems nice. I like it.

Chapter 1
This chapter is a headache, it was very looong. Many quests and side quests I appreciate that but maybe you could make it not that long? I spent 2 - 4 hours for that chapter alone. I was like "Kastie stop accepting some quests please" because it's so long and slowly become boring to play and on the last chapter where the Satyrs attacked the satyrs blocked the other so they stuck up on the entrance. Also you control about 8 heroes and so many and hard to control but I figured out that they will be revive anyway so I didn't control them I just focused on Kastie.

Chapter Two
This was the chapter where I would like to stop playing but still I motivated myself to finish it for I like the story and the characters. Unlike chapter one this was shorter but still long. I keep restarting and restarting the same chapter for the "Huntress of the moon here" (I forgot her name) always killed. Then I start to save the game from time to time. The part where you will escort the caravans from different groups the first group with "Katherine and the Humans" Katherine and the Human hero is weak and vulnerable that I always back them off and no spells that could really damage the enemies. The second group with Kastie was far more difficult to survive for just 2 grunts and 1 troll headhunter they can take down 2 of my huntress and 1 archer and I barely survived.

Chapter Three
This is the chapter where I stopped playing for I was on the task to destroy those demolishers and I didn't manage to kill the guards and the far seer hero called upon two powerful unit that manage to kill Kastie and the Paladin. 4 hits on kastie and I was pissed off and quit. I suggest instead of calling those powerful units to attack the intruders maybe not make them so powerful. So that even the player didn't manage to kill the guards and they alerted the alarms they can still have the chance to survive and destroy the demolishers.

That's all for now, I may continue playing it when I have the mood and finish up my feedbacks. Anyway also could you change how you do those hotkeys? because I find it very hard to use their spells for their hotkeys are kinda randomized. Maybe you can set it to QWER? or something like that for easy access.
Overall I kinda like the story and the characters, they seem interesting. I will finish the the remaining chapters in another days. Keep it up! :)

Thank you for the feedback. Below are some hints for you.

The main quests of Chapter One are not quite long, actually. First you travel several times between Daughter of Nature and Wardglaive Captain. Then take the pass to the humans in Dolanaar. Then help Angelor and Collubry on medical treatment. Finally fight the Satyrs, and that's it. What make the chapter huge are the optional quests and hidden quests. If memory serves, there're a dozen of them totally. You don't have to finish them all but pick some you feel interested in.

As for Chapter Two, Collubry is a melee hero but she's not used in frontal combat, instead she plays a supporting role using her Heal. Kastie, though a ranged hero, serves has the "shield" as her armor becomes high after obtaining the Traditional Elven Costume Lv1 in Chapter One (the task to acquire the item is easy). Katherine and Jone are vulnerable so you have to depend more on your troops, and that's why I gave them more supplies along the road. A hint is that you can try Jone's spell Frozen Shield and will find that the enemies get harmed much faster than you as they attack you.

In Chapter Three it's not difficult to stop the two orcish guards. You can either stun one and focus fire on the other, or you can block their way to the alarm if you've obtained items for summoning by then. Even if you failed to stop them, you can still survive if you have enough good items and choose a good strategy. Some of my testers made it, actually, either by true combat (difficult but possible) or by drawing them to the night elf main forces where Kastie assassinates the orcish general. A hint is that if you've got the Stone of Gravity by then you can summon them to be your shield. The damage of the two powerful units on the earth elementals is not that much as on your heroes. Once they waste their attack on the earth elementals you can focus fire and slay them quickly.

The hotkeys are based on the original language so you may find them difficult to remember in English. I don't quite speak English so I don't know which keys to change to, and my translator Scipio don't know how to change them as he didn't make maps himself. Yes, it would be a clever way had I just set them to something like QWER or ASDW, as you suggested.

I would encourage you to continue, especially to Chapter Five, which is my favourate. Besides, I'm so glad you enjoy the stories. Thanks ^_^

So, here it is. I didn't manage to really finish it but I played all the chapters besides form Chapter 4 and 5 which I didn't finish.

TERRAIN: The terrain is very detailed and beautiful, I like how did you make the forests, villages/cities, groves and etc. Tile variates well, doodads are wisely placed, the used of WoW models such as statues fits well. But in some areas they look plain and empty but overall the terrain is nicely done. :)

GAMEPLAY: Well, the gameplay is nice an RPG game type but sometimes it's pretty laggy like in chapter 4 I stopped because my tree of life was destroyed and I find it hard to play because of extreme lag when many orcs are attacking and another wave will follow plus the Watch Towers infront of your base, I coudn't control my hero and use their abilities properly. I guess it would be better with an AI would do it to avoid lag. In Chapter Five where I listen to Jone's story I will proceed to another map and I didn't last long because of MANY Creeps in the way like on the right there were trolls on the left orges and above gnolls and I have only 2 units with abilities and with a weak level 1 hero. I was like "Whaaaat?" and I quit and played chapter 4. Maybe you could less down the creeps. I like the items and the abilities but the abilities is kinda odd in some chapter a certain ability is missing and in some chapter you can use them and also Arrow of the Stars ability by Kastie when cast it will lag which is annoying, her spells is nice but doesn't really deal much damage its kinda weak. The use of WoW models in some units are good and doesn't look very OP with the rest. The music theme really fits well and sounds really great. Overall I like it.

STORY: This is the part which I like. The characters are interesting, the cinematics are good too, cameras and dialogs seems well made but there are some typos I have noticed. The thing that I don't like is Shandris' personality towards Kastie that in my opinion doesn't quite right for her (and I hate her new model, Hehe) anyway it's your story though. Overall I like it.

OVERALL: The campaign is really well made and you really have putted a great effort and time and it resulted great. I vote for APPROVAL! with a score of 4/5 +REP. Great Job and Happy Mapping! :D

So first of all I played this map yesterday now I'm in chapter 5 I have few suggestions or more I think..
1.) skills or the hotkeys you use to activate skills are sometimes doesn't trigger for example the Wrath of Wilderness Even if you click the hotkey it won't budge..
And the Arcane of Explosion of Cindra is in hotkey (N) while her mana shield is also (N)..
2.)Description of skills and Items are not compatible when used or on how it is describe.. E.g Skill: Forest Companion: Summon 2 phantoms of Amour to fight. Regernerate 60 mana (lvl 9)
But it actually summons 3 Amour and the Flittering Falcon summons 5 when lvl 10 but in the description said 3 owl

3.) Most of the items Cooldown clock signs doesn't appear when used like the Astral Feather doesn't show any sings of its cooldown like clock sign.
:infl_thumbs_up:
All of this reports are just the major part that should be fix.. I forgot some of the problem in this campaign because of the good story line hahaha :D
I'll report once again after I finished the game today :ogre_haosis:

I missed the Avatar of Chimera hidden quest and chapter 3 secret regions hahaha
I didn't read the hints until now..
I rate it 7/10 for now because of this errors and wrong description of skills and hotkeys

English needs help.
Loading screen maps are untranslated.

First level:
Huntress and archer are visible before killing the wolves.
Hemostatic Herbs don't stack. Personally, I think you should turn all "Bring me X items" items into powerups, and have the number collected show up as a message.
The Blood Elf looks like a Night Elf.
You really need to replace every instance of "Heil" with "Hail", it has a very different meaning in English.
The ranger died during the fountain of health battle but the quest didn't fail. Also, I don't really like the hidden quests as opposed to the optional quests, it's easy to forget what you needed to complete it but not find it in the quest log.
Finished it with one sidequest missing, I can't figure out who it was. Also, there's a treant in the east who doesn't do anything.

CleavingHammer, the treant is for the King of Chimera quest; you gotta talk to him with essence of water in your inventory (read the hints for more details)

^ Damn it, now I need to redo the level. I think I converted it into an item.

General:
Level intro cutscenes can be skipped, but not those later in the level.
There needs to be some rebalancing of the item drops, I've got four L2 synthesis stones and I can't do anything with them because I can't get any L1 stones to make the items.
Not sure why everyone in-game is bashing Kastie for being a bad commander. Mind making it clearer?
Consider having stashes teleportable (and maybe adding another), having to go the entire length of the huge map just to drop off an item is annoying.

First level:
Bug: If you go through Cerewyn's "need to stay here" speech, it resets the other NPCs in that line (the archer, the dryad, and Cerewyn) so they give you the same speech as the first time. Doesn't seem to affect gameplay though.

Second level:
Sarah can't Shadowmeld.
The Moon Well upgrade is still present in the Hunter's Hall, and Huntress Sentinel ability is grayed out.
If fighting the tornadoes while the naga's cutscene plays, the heroes are teleported back but any units (Sarah and the archer) keep fighting.
Treant sidequest: Killing only the furthest generator is enough to mark the quest as completed, the closer treants remain hostile even if you kill the generator after the quest is completed.
The lead panther's Cannibalize needs to be researched, and the dagger ability only says "Tooltip missing".

Third level:
Shandris shows up as a standard Warden, including the random name. And the archer Night Elf is visible in their camp when you're commanding her.
The Dwarf's sidequest doesn't show up in the quest log.
Sniping section: Please put a line in the quest log saying you only get one shot to warn people they need to save. You should also put the bit about hiding in tall grass at the start of the gauntlet.
Demolisher section: Orcs keep spawning when the barracks is destroyed. Also, the far seer really needs to have his damage reduced. I get that you're not supposed to fight him, but the fact that he can and will near-instakill you makes that part needlessly frustrating (I spent an hour getting him out of reaction range).
Triple boss fight: Yeah, no. The bosses start right on top of you with no time to react.

I have been walking this freaking map for hours trying to find the bard to return his bagpipe. How the hell am I supposed to remember where the bard is? CANT YOU USE PINGS TO SHOW WHERE PEOPLE NEED TO GO to / RETURN FOR OPTIONAL QUESTS?! DUDE THIS IS REALLY FRUSTRATING ME.
And please add a back pack or something.. kinda getting tired of running out of space in inventory :(

Like for example, I get an optional quest: Deliver the flowers to Jone. In the quest description, no hint at where Jone is, NOTHING. Am I supposed to just wander around all day to find that one person? Come on dude, I don't have time for so much wandering. This map would be so much better if you, in the quest description, give the player some directions on where to go to complete EVERY quest, whether optional or main.

The bard is on the western edge of town, surrounded by a crowd.

The backpack is a complicated one. First you need to find the Pandaren on the northern border and take his quest, find the other one on the western border nd get the clothes. Complete the elf tailor's quest to get a different set of clothes, combine the two to get a backpack.

I agree with a teleporting stash with one extra; if you actually complete all the hidden quests/optional quests early on, you'll find yourself out of space very quickly.

Also, the backpack system is somewhat broken; item stats are added from both packs, only one at a time (i.e. if you have an orb of fire in the "first" pack and an essence of wind in the "second" pack, you'll only get one or the other depending on the pack you have "equipped").

Thank you for letting me know. I thought these two words the same before. Now I see that they are different.

I've corrected several minor translation mistakes such as this one and have helped Godot reupload the map.

Please let me know if anyone of you find more translation mistakes. I would thank everyone who helps improving my translation.

Actually the backpack only allows you to take 5 extra items. It's not helpful enough. I once suggested Godot add more of them but the author insisted that item combination plays a minor role in the campaign and so we don't have to collect too many artifacts.

Well, I can't recall any as glaring as that one.

Though I was wondering about the Pandaren blocking the gate in the second one, Bald Tartarus (excellent name for a metal band). Is he supposed to be a Tatar by any chance?

Yes but since the Tatar is a people in the real world, I just choose another name Tartarus (the abyss in Greek mythology) so as not to be offending.

At least all the items should be stackable. Like I said, I've got 4 L2 stones taking up space waiting to be used, and the hemostatic herbs would be a lot more useful if you didn't have to go the the little dance of drop first item-pick up new item-use item pick up first item all the time. Same goes for the acid-bomb fruit and mana fruit (the acid bomb fruit doesn't sell for anything).

The lava stone's cooldown doesn't show up.
The bow's spells should be accessible regardless of which one was just used (or do they all have the same cooldown?).

^ I see. Still a good name for a metal band.

I know about the backpack; I had it unlocked but it has a major fault as I said before (only one set of "items" are applied at a time; i.e. if the "first" set is equipped, "second" set of items are null).

Can you give some type of hint as to what chapter the shining crystal and the angular shining crystal can be forged in?

Find the shining crystal in the orcish demolisher camp in Chapter 3.

In Chapter 4, whichever path you choose (kill or track the death knights), you'll find in your way a flowing circle beside a statue. Take the shining crystal with you and get into the circle, the angular crystal will appear.

That is not what I asked. I asked WHERE THEY CAN BE COMBINED. Which chapter? Also, if Collubry gets killed in chapter 5, nothing happened. I had her using the purge artifact and when she died it just disappears. That should be fixed. Also make ALL cinematics skippable, not just some, and please do something about how tedious the backpack system is. Having to wander across colossal maps back to your backpacks just to forge items is a major pain in the ass. Also with how easy it is to fail these missions, I agree with the above post to let cheats back in. These maps take FAR too long to complete and get everything in them so when you do multiple saves especially when you decide you'd rather forge a different item, having to go back so far in one map is mega-annoying. Please also improve the travel system. It is so annoying waiting for the boat to get to different places, either make it super fast or make teleportation gates.

As far as I remember in Chapter 4 whichever path you choose you'll find a rotating way gate that teleport you into a secret region. Defeat some bosses and open the gate behind them using the golden key obtained in Chapter 3. Take the shining crystal with you and enter a circle inside the gate to get the other crystal.
Actually there's a special topic on King of Chimaera in "Appendix I - Hints" in the main thread. It's after the hints of each chapter. Read it carefully and you'll find everything as for this hidden quest throughout the campaign.

That's all I can help you as I have nothing to do with the technical problems. Anyway, I'll translate your problems to the author and he'll decide what to do.

Please pass this on to him as well, In the submap for Jone, Right when I started fighting the zombies, I got a fatal error and it crashed. Something in that map is causing it.

In chapter 4 I feel that when you get to Katherine's base and begin your fight against the orcs, that they are a bit overpowered with the large groups, having full upgrades, and constantly creating more troops over short periods, easily making you fight 2-3 groups at once, as well as 15 or so towers at each barricade to destroy over a set period of time. Whenever I try to play that section the furthest I've gotten is the last 3 towers of the 3rd barricade. I haven't been able to complete this arc of the chapter and end up forced to follow the death knights if i want to complete the level without getting stuck, which is a shame because the campaign has a very good story and i would like to see the results of this quest instead of the other.

Also the human towers aren't being destroyed when i take control of the others or do I have to manually attack with them?

Otherwise this is a great but long campaign with a good story and beautiful setting.

@Lady Shinku, that's exactly my point I've tried and tried but even with a +70 attack with Kastie at lvl 10(same with Paris too) and the best summoning items and the tauren druid's help I can't beat them without being overwhelmed or running out of time. It's quite annoying............

I'm so glad to know that you've discovered the hidden hero Tauren Shaman in chp 4. Below are some hints for this quest.
1. Use your heroes to attack the enemy line and use your troops to defend your base camp. At the begining you can depend on the spells of your heroes to destroy the towers. For example, try the ultimate one of Katherine's. Heroes always get the priority and the building of your troops goes second.
2. As for your troops, the most urgently needed units at this time are those who can hold out longer, and so you should quickly recruit some Druids of the Claw with master training, or Mountain Giants with upgraded skin.
3. Activate the second group of Human Cannon Towers as soon as possible. The sooner, the better.

Thank you for the advice but a big thing with the human towers is that they are almost instantly destroyed after i activate them, and that they aren't destroying the orc controlled cannon towers when i activate the 1st set.

@Farewell Godot
Yea I tried your hint but I guess im just stupid
so I fought my way through the path connected by the bridge
(Im surprised I can repair it though)
I finally reached the another base but it seems the undead launched the attack even though I reached it.

In the first chapter, i put the wand that i got from the bard in my locker, then it suddenly get destroyed, worst still the items disappeared, i was utterly shocked that time. Also, in chapter 5 i tried jones memory then i met the revenants on the long path, i killed one of them then BOOM, Fatal Error, i thought it will be only once, so i tried again and it happened again, so i tried running past them, it worked ! then when we are supposed to push through the path, i killed a zombie and then Fatal Error, again.
Then is there a way to get through the zombie village without waking any of them? I got casualties thanks to them, any help would be appreciated
