Note:
-TEST MAP WITH WTF MODE -wtf , -ct (for lvl)
-there are recipe in library to guide u for combine ur item!
-Recommended 5v5.
-Around 40~60 minutes per game.
-AoS (DotA-like) style.

Rise of the Hero III RotH v1.2 is a aos style map created by jareph. AOS are starcraft map where 2 forces fight against one another till the main structure destroy and this map are no much different than it.

To begin with, I would start off with the description. The description at this site doesn't reveal most of the necessary detail of this aos, it does not mention what makes this aos unique and better than any other aos out there considering there is a thousand of aos generic map flowing around the net.

The screenshot, all have different height and width. Making everything look untidy and unorganize. Infact, even the image link of the loading screen was set wrong. To make it worst, there is no quest log to indicate the existence of the -wtf mode or neither crediting to the custom resources you used.

Infact, I have no idea what is the capture point all about till I have captured it. The tips game text probably have told, then again it is not enough if a user miss the message.

The loading time was hell long as well, it took over an minute just to completely load everything even at single player. The same goes to ap mode, user would have to wait about 20-30 seconds before they could have gold to pick their own heroes.

Next comes the hotkey and icon. At the beginning of hero selection, I notice the hero selection was using a user friendly hotkey where everything was set according to alphabetical order for the convenience of the user. Then guess what I seen next? The hero ability use blizzard standard hotkey and then all item does not even contain a decent hotkey at all, even the attribute bonus learning does not have hotkey. As for the icon, I notice the ability was passive and yet it use active icon?

I even notice a passive ability that does not need to be learn shown hotkey, what is the point of having the hotkey if the ability was passive?

Next, is the terrain. The terrain was poorly done, it lack of variation and look uninteresting at all. If this aos was introduce to a new player, the first impression it would given is definitely negative.

Even though I just make a quick skimming through this aos, I do not see anything unique in this aos. Even the multiboard look the same with any other multiboard you could have seen at any other aos, and the multiboard doesn't look great compare to the other.

Overall, the quality was lacking as there is many minor error on it. There is a lot of minor error that need to be eradicate before it could became decent quality aos. My vote is 2/5 (Lacking).

Now, first of all, one thing... YOUR MAP CRASHED MY WE! And im on a laptop. Second, when i then opened it, the terrain was awful.. That wss one of the first things i saw. You might wanna spice it up with more doodads, trees place the right places, bubbly terrain(where you basicly goes up and down) instead of the flat place where it sometimes rose a level.
Third, how can you create such a map which crashes my WE, without doing anything about the terrain? I dont understand that..
