Author Notes:
Showcase video incomming. Made for competetive play, based on my previous map Southern Isles.

Update: 21-Apr-16: Changed the green camp near expansion to an orange, and added an additional green camp near the base. This camp now grants level 2 along with the in-base green camp. Removed 1 ensare murloc from the murloc camp. Changed the creeps on the red camp around a bit.

Gameplay
The creep camps are balanced.
The items they drop are balanced aswell.
No player has a positionging advantage.
The gold expansions gold amount are balanced.
Plenty of large open areas that allows for epic battle clashes.

I like that you mixed three types of trees with each other. It prevents the otherwise almost always dull looking forest areas.

The environment in general is well-executed for using only stadard doodads. there is no excess use, but you have still managed to fill the terrain in a good way. The tile usage is very good. It looks realistic and thoughtful instead of just spammed as in so many other maps. You have also used the higher/lower tool very well. There are no obvious hills, which gives the map a very distinct and underlaying feeling of tranquility. The fog effect is also nice, as it is not heavy enough to impact on gameplay, but just enough to be visible and contribute to the environment.

The cliff islands in the outline of the maps are simple but still well-made and adds to the atmosphere.

The only thing i could think of is the river rushes placed in various places. Their colour is slighlty off as they are pretty healthy-looking for being in such a barren and frozen area.

There are few things you could do in order to improve the environment.

Looking at this again, I almost want to give it 5/5 because of the video. It's very nice. Although the fog filter is set to white and there is no sky. These are easy fixes. What software do you use for video capture? Still, I think that while the presentation is fabulous the map is still a solid 4/5. High quality and great presentation, just short of true excellence.

The creator left hiveworkshop before his/her map was officially added to the map pool for tournaments....

Most tournament maps use the Lordaeron summer tile-set, which is why it is so refreshing to see a different tile-set on an official map. Also really nice to see creeps like Tuskar. There are so many neutral units that we never see (on official tournament maps) because of the lack of variety of tile-sets.

Also, it is nice to know that out of the 8 maps in the WCG 2019, quite a few are made by hiveworkshop users.
