*Reworked nearly every system in the game to improve efficiency and reduce lag.

*Removed ALL waves and replaced them with new counter-parts. There are a total of 32 base wave-type units that have varying abilities. Each wave type is modular - allowing me to add/change/remove existing wave types with ease.

*Provided a large buff to the regenerators - double the range and healing but at double the price.

*Removed the ability for any zerg (minus wave 30 boss) to destroy the natural walls in the game.

*Many zerg can now burrow under your wall, jump over your wall, or fly over your wall.

*Reworked Thermal turrets to give them AOE atttacks and multiple attacks per second.

*Reworked Reaper turrets - they now gain damage and attack speed over time (visibly)

*Tesla tower chaining has been reverted back to the original style.

*Added docking port which currently features two air vessels. One that mines and another that attacks.

*Added Mineral Deposits - Large minerals with more life that can only be mined through "Destructive Mining" (Mining ship and Golem)

*Added energy shields as a wall tier option

*Added solar panels as a power generator option

MineralZ is SIGNIFICANTLY less laggy. I had to rewrite some major systems, but the end result was well worth it. Enjoy!

* Possibly fixed the saving and loading of codes by making the system significantly more robust. ( Checks for multiple load files and player names. It will also attempt to check codes without the battlenet handle id of the player for future compatibility)

Tesla is a guaranteed contributing to lag.
Also there's another bug where my friend used Pink and some of the Mineral he was unable to mine whereas I can

too lag, 1.15 better maybe u can try reverting to 1.15 and then slowly add 1 by 1 the stuff that u added to 1.16? it seems like whenever my screen goes to my miner it lags hell. Same with other miners

that would cause problem. if other player give 1 credit to the player that have the max possible credits, then the player would be kicked without reason xD

of course that check, if players have too many (i.e. cheated) credits, would have to happen right at the start, before anyone can trade anything

Well, I have a better idea - to count summary credits. They must be same all the time after loading time. Except waves with credits.

And how would that help? If the sum of all players' credit is checked, of course they will be the same at all time (neglecting additional credits earned through waves and neglecting that sum could fall when players spend credits in the shop), simple trade of credits wont affect the sum total, so this cant be a criterion to check for cheaters.

...But "cheaters" would start with their really high credit amount, not receive them later on.

Just kick guys with credits > they can have on load (based on nights survived? or just limit in version). Then kick every player whose credits changed when they shouldn't. Also add heavier protection to map itself. And a wipe after everything is made of course. I mean with 400 credits it's not hard to survive through every night in game so now that guys will just make 125 credits and play with that. And that's still not fair.

Credit issue can simply be fixed by---

One- in the save system don't save the current credit count - but instead save a credit amount based upon the current wave.
Two- Add that figure on top of initial credits based on the load given at start of the game
Three- Make it so that in single player the save load system is disabled


Four- The credit system is stupid anyway it removes the challenge to the game by rewarding players with game changing advantages due to previous time spent playing the game. It is better to only reward experienced players with aesthetically pleasing changes. Also since they are experienced it would be better to actually up the difficulty. Such as make the creeps focus the more experienced players first. Thus creating a better more challenging way of playing and increasing replayabillity factor.


Thus cheaters would only gain themselves a much hard game.

Save code saves level based on credit count then
Small triggers could be made like - Unit is attacked- owner of attacking unit is evil owner of attacked unit is player x- Set hp of attacked unit to hp of attacked unit - Y*level_variable(Playernumberofattackedplayer)

ofc in jass though and more efficiently coded then that pseudo GUI crap

Yeah no seriously. Something in the newer versions made the game piss easy. Me and Tonex did nightmare with me being afk half the time. Lol... maybe i should make hell 100x harder.

Well, Ionic tier make game easier. Previously you could build 2.5-3 times less dps tower cluster on same space. And new wall and regenerator are really imba too. Because low wall health made it difficult to keep it alive while having enough dps. And if you don't keep it alive, you have to rebuild it on day. And you know what? Now you rebuild it !!!5!!! times faster! So just EVERY part of game became easier. Well, I haven't even wrote about black holes... They are just imba too. You can easily 1-shot 50% of entire wave! It should have 2, 3 or even 4 days cd...

1. My solution was to a presume flawed system from previous comments about cheaters with 99999 credits. It is assumed that they used single player for that.
Unless they know the cipher used to code the stats. Then it would be simply an answer of using Nestharus' save system if you have no already done so.

Also Credits make it a lot easier. Luck you getting to hell wave 20 on solo. I solo'd hell had just enough time to build a wall and mine enough for a generator or a turret. The wall would pretty soonish die. (However this was on older vers o_O)
With credits mining wasn't so hard.

Over 90% of the cheaters are oblivious to the methods of cheating a map.
They only download it from an unspeakable site.
No point for Mad to make stronger protection, or revamp his save/load.
Nothing to do about it, nothing to worry about.
Increasing difficulty is a good idea though.
Mad added so many new buildings/upgrades making harder modes too easy.

Credits giving advantage is not bad.
It's like training levels in an RPG.
Changing it to only aesthetic bonuses now would cause a lot of rage.

Lol I dunno, I tried to figure it out, but it takes some time for me at least. There are some tuts on youtube as well :D. But for the code, the end result, apparently looks fine, even if it made the code look like crap, which i dont think it does, it could be easily fixed:D

Hope Mineralz II isnt too different then MineralZ. Are you gonna make it more or less the same, but just a bit of changed terrain and mechanics? I thought MineralZ was perfect, im not to sure how this will look in comparison xD But I have a feeling its gonna be sick! :D

Bug report:
I'm building inside temple, so I have limited space to build.
I blocked myself in this area just enough for a way gate, I built way gate and realized it doesn't have space for me to move to build it.
What I did was I sold the laboratory beside it, and it crashed.
*way gate requires laboratory to build.
Players in game says I disconnected, meaning only I crashed.

Okay I'm really a hardcore mineralz fan.
I tested it again, it happens only when i build it in temple base when I build way gate at top left.
Tested 3 times, all fatal error.
Here's the picture how you build it, after building way gate you're not able to move anywhere to build it, then click sell laboratory for surprise.
