The epic battle is beggining ! The endless light of the Gods versus the fearing darkness of the Devils emerge in a epic battle !
This is a altered melee map with some changes like I added world bosses where heroes (only heroes) can raid them (i suggest 1 tank, 1-2 healers with mana potions, and some DPS). The idea with the world bosses camed to me from WoW (i just love that game :*:*)
Another big change is the city or sanctuary or what you want to call it that i placed in the map. There heroes (only heroes again) can buy potions, items, auras, and so on.
And yet another big change is that i added the Light/Darkness Altar in map from where you can recruit the God/Devil to fight on your side. Warning ! Only the Light Forces (team 1) can recruit the God, and the Darkness Forces (team 2) can recruit the Devil. If your part of the Light Forces and want to recruit the Devil forget it. The God/Devil cost more resources and there is a 15 minutes delay from the begging of the map (you can't recruit the God/Devil as your first hero, only if you wait rofl.). They are also much overpowered heroes (that's why they are God and Devil right? :P).
In rest this is a melee map. The things i added in the map is for players who like to have fun (killing the bosses).

Changes from BETA Versions :
-terrain changed from Barrens to Lordareon Summer
-new and beautiful (my opinion :D) city
-if i changed the terrain ofc i changed the old Chaos Razormane Guards with Chaos Guards.
-2 new bosses
-now you can't get that easy to Chaos Keeper (hehe, see surprise in game)
-added Fountain of Health and Fountain of Mana
-the bosses are now split (not 2 as they were before, 1-1), and by this they are more powerfull (increased damage, armor, spell damage and attack speed)
-in the middle of the map (where the old city was) is now what i like to call a "battleground". There you can see the border that splits gods side and devils side.
-1 new shop in city with auras
-some other changes that i can't remember right now

Changes in 1.01 :
-fixed bug where you can recruit infinite Gods/Devils (hopefully)
-fixed bug where team 2 can recruit God and team 1 can recruit Devil
-some other small changes.

Changes in 1.01b:
-changed Devil model cuz the older one was kinda ugly and couldn't fix a damn bug. Anyway the new Devil model looks cooler and has team glow.
-the scroll/potions that allways apear 0 in merchenant are fixed now.

Changes in 1.02:
-fixed the bug where at the Chaos Keeper Infernals and Doom Guards spam with no limits (hopefully ^.^)
-replaced the Chaos Guard's Bash ability with Bloodlust cuz you can't bash with a sword.
-some other small improvements.

Changes in 1.03:
-items that drop from bosses now have a history
-items significally changed, EXAMPLE : Ring of the Astromancer replaced with Aquatic Ring of Shalla (wanna know who's Shalla, and why is it the ring aquatic? check the history :D.)
-text messages has been added whenever the God or the Devil dies, or when bosses or killed etc.
-gaved a name to the city : City of the Restless
-delay time for recruting the God or the Devil has been increased to 15 minutes.

Changes in 1.04:
-for the first ever time in war3 history (hopefully ^.^ lol) GEMS that can be socketed had been added. They have a 25% chance to drop from most of the creeps on map. Be carefully cause this gems drops when the hero who was carring it dies. There are currently 2 times of gems, 1 for shields and 1 for weapons. The items that can be socketed are from the Armory/Weapon shops in city. The sockets will add another bonus to the item (like damage bonus or armor bonus), making it more strong. To socket a item simply buy the item you want to socket from the city, buy the recipe (ATENTION ! There are 2 tipes of recipes, 1 for weapons and 1 for shields) from the Armory/Weapon shop and find a gem. Be carefull what gem you enchant.

Ok, so I played and here is my preview:
First of all I must say, that I`m not keen on melee maps, so my preview can be in some way unfair. Anyway here we go:
+/- Not so bad terrain. Needs some improvements but not many.
- Choose the paladin, learn defense aura and look at little icon on the down. What does it say? "Tooltip missing" Fix that.
- I couldn`t kill some bosses will great sources of army and alliance. You should balance it
- Paladin max lvl is 5
I can`t say anything more. I would better don`t vote ;P

-ok, ty for reporting this bugs, and i don't think your coments are unfair, i am not good at melee map eather ^.^.

-i will try to balance the bosses abit, but they were made for heroes to raid them in groups of 4-6 (2 players) with a tank (with some items from the city shop) and 1-2 healers with potions of mana or things like that. i noticed the lvl 5 max on heroes too, at that time i tought it was only me but now i see that all who play have this. i will try to fix it.

I did a pretty big raid. But still it was very hard and the costs were very big (we had to do something about 3 rides in a big hurry before the boss will recover health).

ok i hurryed up with the new version cuz of that hero level bugg. dunno, i don't remember changing the hero max lvl to 5 o.O maybe it was from the map, dunno. now it's fixed, the max lvl is 10, and the devotion aura is fixed also

-and dunno what to say krisserz, i played the map on single and raided all bosses but i could defeat them. make sure your tank (gods side - mountain king, devils side - crypt lord/death knight) have some items from town (like the +10 armor shield) and your healer (gods - paladin, keeper of the glove, devils - death knight, shadow priest) have a lot of mana potions in case they run out of mana. and i think it is better that the heroes have at least lvl 5+, otherwise dunno what will happen ^.^

The bosses are pretty hard you should allow non hero units to fight too. the boss on the top of the map was eassy because i just kited him close to the entrance and my troll witch doctor casted healing totem and i could have probelly brought him even further so my troll berserkers could attack but i was too lazy. Also i had like a huge armor increase to my tank (beastmaster) he had like 88% resistance and i had a healer (troll hero guy) with a bunch of mana crap and a dps with alot of weopons (naga sea witch).. And the boss casts down a giant meotor and almost kills me healer so i cast that morphing spell on the stronger looking boss and he just turns back to normal and wipes out my whole group in about 2 or 3 seconds... so yea its hard on singleplayer...

-yeah i made those bosses hard, you just need a strategy, but i think i will reduce the damage of the spells (astromancer's spells) a bit in the upcomming map
-if you play in 2 players, with 5-6 heroes raiding them (2 healers - 1 tank) with some good items i think you can defeat them.
-at the astromancer, yeah his the harder boss i think, try to stay with the healer a little back, so he won't cast the meteor on you. if he casts on the tank just heal him, and that's it. at the astromancer you just need to resist a bit at the beggining cuz he will cast all his spells and then you will have like 20 seconds till the spells finishes cooldown.

HINT : Use Blood Mage's spell 2nd skill (the one that makes a unit enter a not-attackeble state, so that you can fight with 1 boss, while the other is in that state.)

-and i specially made this bosses so that other units can't fight with them. if i let normal units attack them, where will all the fun be?

This map is weird... extremely, and a little annoying sometimes.
I won't review it since you're still working on it.

There are a lot of troubles, first the city, when using flying units to attack the opponents city, well... sometimes they try to fly over the city but that trigger that moves them instantly out of the city is a little annoying, but you get used to it, but when playing against the computer, the screen gets filled with annoying messages, I suggest that you set the messages to only appear to the matched player.

The bosses are... well... first, too easy, second, useless... you don't need to fight them.

The idea is quite original, but... I think is not working, you need to make a lot of changes.

Suggestions? Remove the city, separate the map into two halfs, add portals to cross to each half, make the bosses the guardians of those portals, that way you'll need to fight them. Create two more custom heros, that way each player will get one.

well i didn't make the bosses for players TO NEED to fight them to defeat them other team, that way i think it won't be a melee map anymore, i made them for players, if they have time in there game, to go and have fun fighting them and, if they can, defeat them and get good loot that will help them defeat the other team.
and about the "easy" part, others say the bosses are to strong, now i don't know what to think O_O

i was thinking to move the city in another part of the map so that players don't need to evade the city everytime they try to attack the other team with there armies.
as for the split up the map in 2, and the bosses should be a primal kill i don't think it's a good idea cuz, as i said before it won't be a melee map anymore, the map will remain the same and the bosses a "optional quest" for those who wanna kill them.

That's why I don't like to give suggestions XD, if your plan was to just put the bosses there, well, then its perfect.

Mmmm... There are some points that I don't understand, first, the two custom heroes, you can hire as many as you want, so I can have an entire legion of heros if I wanted.
It does not matter if you are from undead/orcs team, or human/nightelves team, you can hire both heroes.
The heroes are extremely unbalanced, they're quite powerful and with the correct items a single of those can eliminate the bosses and they can destroy the oponents alone when used correctly too, so, with those heroes there's no need for and army at all, specially with the Angel, because of his Mass Holy Light spell.
If the idea was to make them overpowered then balance them, the Angel, can heal himself, giving him a huge advantage over the Devil.
The Mass Death Coil only hits two enemies and has a very short range.
There are some missing tooltips.
I think that's all...
