Dael'Barun Worlds Defence Created by DUTY OF RS

Map Info:

Controll the Survivor to manage to build things and onward.
Build the most strongest units that can be trainned in the map.
Go forth with you units and try your best to obtain victory.
If that shouldn't work, you could always train an Hero.
Defend yourself against massive of waves.
And if you think that goe's well go further and kill the Lord in the Wilderness.
Protect Dael'Barun and the World Tree, if the World Tree goes down, you and your teammates {if they survived.} Will lose the game.
Keep protecting until the last boss, named Wyklin.
Defeat Wyklin and obtain Victory.

Features:

This game feature a lot since i released the Template type of this map.
The features are:
-A lot of tile(s) fixes.
-Balanced units, {General Vezax & World Tree and a lot more!}
-More units for all races.
-3 powerfully Heros.
-More buildings to be build.
-Added Drops to the Lord in the Wilderness.
-A dozens of triggers.
-Reinforcements for the Templar Factions.
-Added around 50 minutes of pure gameplay!
-Reworked some of the Terrain.

Some Tips and Triks:

What-To-Do
-Help your friends out for surviving.
-Protect the World Tree.
-Build an massive force to fight against the enemies.
-Establish an base with your team-mates or by your own.
-Explore the whole map, that contains bosses with an softy reward.

Wing & Lose
Defeat Conditions;
-Or if the World Tree is being Destroyed.
Victory Condition;
-You can only win if you kill the last boss in the last Wave.

Stuff-To-Do
There are some few things that can make the game more interesting, and more challenging.
-You can go to the North-Western and Defeat General Vezax for an hefty Reward.
- You can protect the Ogre King and his fellow Sentinels. {They are good to hold off the enemy for a good time.
-You could also protect the Templars.
-Also you can kill the 3 Overlords in the map. {Good drops of them.}

How to get started?
-You should start Harvesting Lumber with your Survivor until you have reached 400-500 Lumber.
-Therefor you should find an spot where you can build your base.
-Hire and Constructor. {They are building things.}
-Now start building Human Stronghold.
{When you got 200 Lumber and want to buy and Wood Cutter [Small Orc.] You should do that and use him to obtain more Lumber.}
{PS! Those small Orcs are weak and value-able! Protect them!}
-Then you should build some farms, like from 1 to 5. {You cant build more than 5 farms. And when you have builded 5 farms you will see in the ''Building-Option'' That you cannot build any more of them. If some one the farms should be destroyed, you could build more. but 5 is the maximum limit. {The farms are for the Hero's sake.}
-Then you should buy Protection Towers that will protect your buildings/units.
-And its always good with more Wood Cutters?
-And if you feel comfortable with good enough Lumber you should build ''The Altar of Heros'' And even if you got Lumber for it, you should hire an Hero at your choice.
-After that you should just build an barracks and start recruiting units.
{Use the units in an tactical way! there are tanks, dps and healers there. Be sure of that you dont use the healer at the front of an battle.}

The Human Stronghold (The one you can build.) should not be an green icon when pausing the game.

Done some balancing.
Added more health regenation to Ogre King and the Stone Sentinels.
Some Terrain reworks.
Added 1 more spawn for the Templar Castles. There were only 1 spawn they got before this update. Now its 2 and its at different locations.
And for the Voting poll, it has been choosed with more votes than the other ones. The ''Add new heros into the game.'' Has been choosen. And so i did, i added 2 more heros for now. The following heros are: An Bishop Intelligence Hero. He is used for healing friendly units, and got some good spells. This is an Goblin. The other one is an Dark Queen Ranger Agility. She is very useful against 1v1 fights, and so on. Should be summoned when fighting Bosses/overlord etc.

Hello again my fellow RPG'ers. Im sorry to say this, but i have updated the game again...
The following Updates is;
I fixed the spawn bug for the Templars
Reduced the ability named ''Healing Touch'' because it was so long time waiting time
The ability named ''Black Arrow'' Has been reduced in mana
Spawn Fixes for the enemies has been reduced
All tough i was a bit kind and added;
4 epic new units for the players to train.
3 Melee units and first Range unit.
One of the 4 ones are 1 Titan Mammoth. The Titan can be trainned for an nice price of Lumber.
Added new abilites
Mirisa got the ''Black Arrow'' Cooldown reduces to 1 second.
The Ogre King got Slam Ability That hits 800 DMG to an are of 450.
The Tauren Midgets Taunt have been raised from 450 to 500.



The Skeleton Frenzy ability's tooltip is now fixed.
Fixed some of the Reinforcements Triggers. (Time and units.)
Added the ability ''Cleaving Attack'' to the Mammoth Titan Ravager.
Fixed so its worth to buy the Titan and those on the Legion Barracks.
Added more or less DMG/HP to some several units.
Removed the Last Barracks model and tok in something that fits more.
Moved some units positions.
Fixed some named like '' Ronin'' is now named ''Rhonin''.
Fixed the Attack-Sound of some units.
And i did also change the ''Human Survivor'' Model to something more fitting.



Added more time for the Reinforcements of the Templars
There is an maximum of 3 Lumber Jacks that can be hired
Some Pathing Blockers Fixes
Added the enemies spawn time to be a bit longer

Gameplay & Entertainment:
The map is truly on an epic scale, it's gameplay is nothing special but can be entertaining or more so visually pleasing. I did manage to play with one other player, so we managed to get a little far. I also checked more of the map out in single player.

Beginning the game with one unit, I noticed that this unit could die by creeps if they aren't careful. End game for them. For those who get to build, you wouldn't know where you want to build, but you would know what to build. The game quickly turns into an RTS, workers, units, and heroes present. The reason the score isn't too high is because units do not contain much. For the final barracks, the only abilities for the 3 units there are polymorph and critical strike. No skill to win battles, just if you have awesome towers and more units! Hotkeys are also missing.

Other than a lot of flashy models and projectiles, weird choice of units such as footman towerlike buildings, demons on the good team, and much more; gameplay can be entertaining and it's a challenge to win.

Terrain & Layout:
The terrain isn't stunning but it works out to be good terrain. Tile variation is mostly random, with 2-4 tiles for most of the forest parts of the map. Please look at the top of the map compared to the middle and some of the bottom. Top is flat.

Leveling and cliffs aren't overdone but are present. Water is not very good, your moats are plain and look to forced/straight. Plus, the whole point of moats are to try and prevent enemies and use a bridge to protect.

Doodads & Scenery:
Simple environmental doodads are spread out across the map evenly, except the top of the map. It looks really nice near the well in the middle with the use of the over sized rocks/boulders. Demon area looks great as well. The human forts are okay, it could use more of a war feeling because houses don't fit to much.

No game changing bugs, or bugs at all. Fix the ones on quests. All I saw was this.

In my tests in the Battlenet i have been taken comments of the map and for a day ago, it was ok simple, you could almost solo it. Now i have balanced it so it is only for 3 players. Like before an for eksample;
Footman got 150 hp : Wave 1
-Now-
Footman got 270 hp: Wave 1


Here is an tip for you who download the map here.
When the start of the game, when you and your allied players harvest lumber
You can give the other player lumber so he can fastly build his stronghold and start trainning an Wood Cutter.
Making it way much faster to get more lumber in the beginning!

There are some fixes i need to be working on.
Some pathing blockers are mostly completed, those on the picture you putted in you description didnt i knew about, so thanks for that!


I know there is a lot of tree's at the southern place, and i knew from the start it was going to be a bit of the tree's at north. Tho, if people wants more tree's at the north i could gladly add some there.

There are only 1 demon that are from the alliances.
I choosed 1 demon because of a small history that i have made, but i take it on a later thread or something if wanted.


The units are quite umm what to say, some one of them are ok, and some one not.
Tho there is a lot of abilities for them, i know the ability for the Troll Pirate ''Shoot'' Aint working properly, i will fix it in the V1.3 so look at it next time when i update the map!

And thank you for liking some of my Terrain, it aint at my best tho, i do think its a bit cool. + the Moats can i try to fix, cant say anything.

Tho, there will be an update with some terrain blocking fixes.
So beware if its an 1.3 update!
V1.3 Has been released!

Also i tried the V1.3 on bnet, and we won with actualy only 2. =D !
Gameplay time; 59.34.

And there will NOT be an update the rest of this month. Today is ''22.08.2014''
So if there are any bugs i will fix it when 1 st commes.
Reason; Not to spam ''New Updates'' all the time.


V1.5 has been released. The next update will be in next month, October.

Seems interesting at first. Heroes are very weak and level up slower than bosses appear. Trainable units are also stronger than heroes. Infantry take a lot of lumber, towers as well.
Basically you need to build massive numbers of towers to protect the base. It doesn't leave much to exploring.

Hero's are weak at lvl 1. Just level it up and you'll be fine, different heros are there and ofcourse they are NOT the same. Why?
The Bishoper cant have an huge DMG if he is healing.
Tank is an tank he dont got a lot of interesting things but his role is to take DMG
The dark ranger is an so called "Unit-Caller" Wich she is summoning units...

The Towers are ment to be expensive, tho. They are not weak at all.
I made the towers because they are gonna hold off the enemies for an small duration of time, not for an eternity.

But thanks for comment, i am most greatful for it! :)
