OK, how in the hell did you beat dalaran defence mission on hard guys ? i put myself on a quest to complete this campaign on hard and collect all the legendary items but damn, defending dalaran is impossible for me :necry:
Complete at it's bare minimum. Nothing fancy. Just defend it, no search for legendary items, doing side quests, etc. The last map was a challenge for me, but this map given to me a few headache too on Normal. Keep it up!

the problem is i want that legendary item, and it kinda makes it almost impossible to beat...
there are videos on YT showing that it is doable, so its just my skill issue

Just for you my guy I replayed the Entire game again for ya.

I lost my save and I had to play the game all over again.

But this is the trick to win Mission 5 on Hard

  • Get 7 workers for lumber. Send Rowan to where Tara is. Get 1 worker from Lumber to make a workshop. send another worker where Tara is (so there are two total). Send 1 worker where Rowan the wise was in the first place.
  • Before the first bout use Tara to destroy every crate on the right side to pick up every item and especially every Gold Coin.
  • Make scout towers where Tara is and upgrade them to guard Towers all of them.
  • Where the main gate is where rowan was below the Energy tower make a scout tower where avaible and upgrade them all to Cannon Towers.
  • Make sure to get the Lumber upgrade and Iron Masonry Upgrade as well.
  • Upgrade your keep to Castle.
  • You'll lose some units here and there but Rowan and Tara alone should still be enough to wither the enemies with guard towers at the beginning of the first wave.
  • Use the cannon towers to destroy the trees. Near the buildings there are about 8 trees. You can make 8 towers. This is your mainline defense.
  • Use the Blacksmith to only upgrade Knight Upgrades.
  • When you max out the guard towers you can even decide to make some towers on the right and left side. Upgrade them to guard/cannon towers. Your choice. there meant to only slow down enemies.
  • Make sure to build scout towers on the where the trees are destroyed.
  • Make sure to upgrade the Flying Machine Bombs and make a Flying Machine.
  • You should make a Barracks so you can make more Knights at a faster rate.
  • When the Flying Machine is made you can destroy the unique item. Use Tara's Transportation ability to get there. Make sure nobody else is transported there. Bring the flying machine back with you.

2nd Gate Falls

  • Yes all of that happened before 20th minute mark.
  • Use Tara to get from right to left all the civilians.
  • From the bottom left the 3rd Gate. There are 3 crates with another Gold Coin. Get that.
  • You should have 8 cannon towers or be close to getting them This is your mainline of defense for the next 20 minutes.
  • Drop 1 of your items and get the Orb of Fire for Rowan the wise. Since your main attack force is Knights and Priests. You only have 2 units attack Air with the Orb of Fire.
  • Also Forget to mention upgrade Priest upgrade as well. This will help as well.
  • You make sure two of your workers repair the Cannon towers.
  • Your gonna need to do some micro here. You need to engage the enemies so Meat Wagons themselves don't attack Cannon towers.
  • Make sure to upgrade your Tara's Blizzard ability. There is a small ramp when Meat Wagons show up and attack rowan and the knights. You can use the blizzard ability to do a full damage to Meat Wagons. This is pretty important. Since the units also clump up as well. The meat wagons can be removed.
  • If Kelthuzad uses Death and Decay use Tara's Ability.
  • After this just survive. Make sure to make Farms so you can at least get to medium upkeep and use that to make more knights.

3rd Gate Falls:

- Survive.

Good Luck Man. I hope you can do this.

played it and finished it on 2 day

first of first i played on 1.26

the campaign starts off small you are just doing some tasks to become a paladin and the 2nd mission its been 20 years since the end of the second war you got a title now that is the wise obviously anyway here is my take on the first mission and since the 2nd war wasnt so long over the footman should resemble more of the wc2 one same as the knight and other units will be better for lore sake.

now now the 2nd mission is crazy you kill some bandits some ogres and arthas comes and tells you uther is a chicken!! what?? at first i thought we will be battling the night elves and them coming to the alliance lands instead of the alliance first coming to them , is interesting then we reach the chicken farm i dont know if its intentional or not but the scene of the chickens and you dont know which is uther reminded me of the culling a reference possibly? since its said that arthas killed all citzens infected or not same thing here u kill chickens until uther is found he is beast to kill but there he goes then u kill maieve  and GG.

after that craziness of chasing uther we go to the mystical lands of the high elves i like the elven towns there is a charm that cant be described to them i see you used lily pads just like blizzard did on the elven buildings when we go invade their land in the path of damned funny how the blademaster just stand few feets away from you yet doesnt even attack you instead challenges you for a duel in the near hill bro legit could have taken the chance with rowan guard down but no well bevan healing is great early on.

we arrive at silvermoon and man damn the city has fallen! the music is unsettling as if its trying to tell the tragedy that befell this land walking among the burning buildings and cleansing the land from the dead with this music in the background was...a new experience the city is huge way more detailed than its original version in fall of silvermoon mission would pick this one over the original it was weird how there is survivors i mean the undead must have killed all then arthas shows up and well it was a trap for bevan F for the guy having now to stay in a prison with the rotten undead flesh in his face and their smell.

we go to dalaran now again much better city than the original this was a tough one even though i have my game modded with all units costing 1 food i was unable to go over 30 food for a while took me a restart to properly win so mistakes were made by thinking that holding the undead at the first gate is good idea and wasting money on southern area towers was bad 2nd time i fell back to the entrance behind the elevation did pretty well here it was easier to bottle-neck the green and the purple and man i cant believe we let all these people die! was truly a sad moment when that was said i liked this role we play as a paladin not going crazy and taking a cursed sword in middle of nowhere anyway u evac the city get the good loot and retreat further to hold the undead on a street that separates them from the gate very good place to bottle-neck the undead as tara just gets up on the little elevation and spam blizzard all day funny how we meet tara "who are you?" "im just a woman living here" "ok cool we defend city now" "ok" at first i thought her shield ability regenerates the caster mana then read the desc again and realized i read it wrong its supposed to regin the person whom the shield is casted on after some unpleasant wrestling with the undead the mission ends and the old wizard decides that the portal he was summoning is only for him to escape this version of antonidas is like a 180 degrees of the original i was shocked by his attitude even with the 2 mages that helped him! he deserved his ending and he had a son?.

now we are in the deep underground of dalaran this place just doesnt feel right and death revanants appear out of nowhere not a nice place to live in i took the north path and came across some golems who werent attacking , broke the gate and all of a sudden they lived this was a scary moment as they moved without them moving their legs imagine a static looking golem moving full speed at you while not even moving his legs ran away of course not fighting all those golems and you telling me goblins were living under dalaran ? WHAT? and the dreanai are also here ? WHAT WHAT? so after wiping the last out from existence the undergound secion was over too bad i didnt find what items were across the ruined bridge

after getting out of that hellhole fought some undead and mission over and hey its good to see the men we kept with bevan coming back to us so now we march to the capital city but meet arthas along the way after killing the demon gate summoner and an intense boss fight was really tough to beat but after that arthas goes away and now we are about to be gang-banged by abominations until the elves show up now called the blood elves after some talking with them we wipe out orange undead base the music here doesnt help at all and the land looks toxic and the village is just sad pretty good atmosphere i gotta say well done there.

so now tara and a footman and a knight got so close to silvermoon their stealth level must be very high after some funny conversation with the dreadlord asking his mindless undead guard to say something which the guard says.... some facts and rescuing bevan in the easiest rescue mission i ever seen tara is tasked with getting the silverhand to northrend in the meantime we and our boy logan have landed on northrend and made a nice camp but the elves are scared of this place! of course they are scared with some spooky looking trees and freezing temperatures and some unholy creatures lurk in these lands AND most importantly knowing its here where the undead scourge originated from you will be scared a lot anyway we meet up with some guy called nathan and man his voice acting is just too funny like the voice acting in the entire campaign is goofy but this takes the cake after baking our way through 2 fortified undead bases we now face an actual fortified undead base i wanted to find that healing item nathan talked about looked everywhere and killed everything that lived in the land problem was the undead would attack my base when im far away and at first i saw that 350 gold spent on a town portal were too much and better spent on a gryphon rider but after losing many gryphons to undead i saw that paying 350 instead of losing some more gryphons who cost about lots of gold isnt bad after using the gryphon riders to scout i found it and anubarak is guarding the room? what up with these dwarves makes the most nonsensical decisions? and the undead base is huge! easily the biggest undead i seen so far

so now we want siege engines yeah those are pretty dope units and rowan is a based human player who knows their value so he wants them cuz they great anyway it appears the place nathan stored them in isnt so empty in fact it crowded with nerubians and lets just say they were tough to fight constantly raising the dead and i had no way to dispel it i knew my normal units wont survive so kept them away from fighting and they came so handy when i needed that ring of protection +5 or the spell immune amulet or the orb of frost thats why you care for you men  now we facing faceless ones? ok fine time to wrestle with them too and i didnt lose any unit in both rounds just as i promised wont leave the labyrinth with any losses! but it was the end anyway.

now after we got these siege weapons we get an epic speech by rowan the alliance is back! with elves, dwarves, and humans united together against a common foe we strike at the lich king home turf the icecrown glacier itself this is a pretty tough mission the hardest so far 3 bases to micro was too much so i tried my luck with TPing the elves and dwarves to my base and then pushing with into the purple undead bases and there is a lot of undead that need to be purged after purging the undead and thankfully making 1 building for both elves and dwarves means they dont get defeated so you dont lose! but i wanted to avenge those 2 bases that fell to the scourge so i purged the undead all of them all of their bases with this i made these ex-undead bases alliance ones of course! and retook the elven base and made it a dwarf one and the dwarf one a elf one anyway now the time to kill the lich king once and for all has come , at first i thought this is gonna be a walk in the park but after seeing that the 5 undead heroes gather at the LK place i thought that i just need to kill them once and then smash the lich king the under the might of the holy light and the alliance but nope it took me 3 attacks to finish him off he is a tough nut to crack and the siege engines were so useful here no wonder rowan wanted them so badly.

and its just funny that malganis wanted to give up then arthas killed him , why you would you banish arthas he must have been executed at the spot! but oh well we just banish him too bad we didnt smack our hammer in his cold dead face 1 year later and the king of lordaeron is very ill we visit him and see the antagonist of the founding of durotar in the king castle to comfort him he assures us that the king will be taken care off and we see nathan again after a funny conversation ending up with him getting chased by the soldiers rowan is told to be the king! thats a big task!! first we ask if the holy light can help him but as said before the admiral assures us he will take care of king terenas and it ends up with someone opening a door king terenas begging someone not to do it and a sound of a stabbing that was shocking to hear admiral proudmoore is also a crazy man? like uther? and antonidas? .

quite a nice campaign man looking forward to try jeopardy of the horde

Hi, I'm sorry to bother but at this point I just wanna know what gives. I've seen YT videos of ppl playing Rowan Adventures in Reforged graphics, but no matter what I do, still get classic. I tried Jeopardy of the Horde and I do have that in reforged so idk. Could someone advise me please?

the game wasn't made with reforged graphics it was made to work in the patches that reforged are in. It still uses Classic Graphics.

As for Reforged Graphics the models that have reforged versions tend to get auto replaced but new models created will not get replaced.

Ok I propably get what you mean, I played lot of custom campaigns lately but I have the campaign in classic only. It is not that some models are classic, some reforged. But then there is this
10 hour long video of Rowan Adventure without a single classic model, or texture. And I even tried to use the campaign splitter in description it still won't work. I',m really just confused because I usually can get my way arround, but here I'm stuck

As Turnro said, this campaign is ONLY playable on Classic graphics. Always. Even if you used the Reforged HD graphics, it will auto-set to those legacy ones.
Also, he won't probably remaster all of his campaigns for Reforged until the final update for Malfurion's Quest is out, so expect the annoying long time to wait. Preferably you should have to wait until late 2025.

Thank you for response. I literally posted a video of the campaign being played on Reforge Graphics, I don't get what you guys are saying sorry to bother and I don't wanna spam my dumb questions here. Nevertheless the campaigns Turnro made are work of art I propably like it even more than Arkain series and I can't wait for anything that will be produced in the future.

Can someone please help me download the legacy version,I can't download it just loads to MediaFire and says file Missing, can some help please ,I Beg 🙏🙏 you all
Sadly, I have no idea how to solve this problem. I'm not even responsible for uploading that file.

Unless others are able to help fix this broken download link, your best option would be to play on the latest Reforged patch (1.36.1).

I just tried clicking on the link and the download seems to work.

Your campaign was so much fun and I was impressed by the difficulty in supervising.

I want to use AI from 1 to 10 pages of the campaign. I can't open the map, so could you send me the AI file?

I have played this campaign years ago and I have returned to it and I must say I am still in love with this parody. Good job for it!

I've only just started on your campaign series & I've been loving the voice acting so far!

Gameplay is quite nice as well, albeit nothing really special.
I liked the first mission where you fight Maiev and kill chicken uther especially. The 50 food limit and tighter spaces offer some unique small-scale battle gameplay usually not found in other campaigns.

The voice acting feels like you somehow managed to convince your high school friends to act in a play & they're all doing their honest best. It's very charming imho! I think the casting was also very good, the voices fit the people.

(yes a little bit cheesy but that's part of the charm!)
I liked how you even redid all of the heroes' unit voice lines with the new voice actors but kept the same lines.

I can only hope that the other 3 campaigns also have voice acting, but I doubt it's the case as I don't see it mentioned anywhere in their descriptions. And convincing all of your friends to keep doing all this work? ha!

The music selection was also very nice & regularly improved the atmosphere of a situation much more than what you could've achieved with native War3 music.

Anyway, thanks for this campaign, it's really nice :)
