I'm not home right now I wount be for another 7 days otherwise I would test the map with you. I'm also waiting for the new testing version so I could try it out
 
Almost there...

I assure the terrain will be finished before the month ends. (Without distractions or problems, last week i lost my internet connection probably because of extreme temperature here in my place)
About the pathing blockers, i might not really be able to do it, so i'll give that responsibility to you :). (I suck at placing pathing blockers)

So what's the plan after i finish the terrain? :)
Nothing to show right now, i might throw the last shots tomorrow, and offcoarse as what i promised, the terrain will be finished before the month ends so "probably" i may be able to send the complete map to you. :) I will surely miss this thread after :(

For the progress update, it is now in 95%, what's left is the eastern side of the desert and grasslands and the Dreadfire's base (Still thinking of a unique base for this race though)

I honestly dont like the geysers but you can add them once i finish the terrain :)))

We have one of the best teams in warcraft 3 modding community and I never doubted our success. Gameplay will be unique and nothing we had here before.

Also maybe you'll want to take some "hot shots" for the main page?

Kor'gal Flayer by Misha

Flayers are savage and brutal branch of Kor'gal Clan. It is them who take credit for spreading fear into the hearts of the outsiders. They are lightly armored to move silently and strike with no remorse. All who enter the Jungle without the consent from their leader is punished accrodingly. The flayed bodies can still be found hanging down from the trees at the borders and some of them are not even dead yet...

Shieldbearers are the backbone of Skullcrush army. Blacksteel plate worn from head to toe makes them almost immune against all forms of damage, but their greatest weapon is the shield. Compared to other warriors shield seems a rather poor weapon, but the opposite is the truth. With a sound like thunder their shields lock togheter in an impenetrable formation and behind them, their Impaler brothers prepare their long spears for a bloody feast.

I See, I know it's not as important as getting all the quests to work or making sure that all the clans have equally valuable starting locations, but in a pitched battle a player could well loose because they mistook a elite unit like the blade master for the enemy war chief and used all their burst damage on them before realizing the mistake,

Given what i am seeing though it appears you are making an effort to have fewer normal units sharing models with the heroes correct?

It's half the truth, i am more trying to add some new, interesting and unique units into the game.

I want each clan to have a different strategy and advantages. For example if Skullcrush clan has strong, but expensive units, they should concentrate more on close quarter battles in canyons etc, on the other hand clan like Gorimmar can overwhelm the enemies with hordes of weak slaves in open field battle.

I also plan on adding a new clan of half-ogres into the game in future for balance reasons (3v3v3 modes).

Any ETA on when the next test map will be ready?

And have you made any effort to replace the random orc clans with Centaurs/Razormanes? I still find it weird when i see these guys not killing off the player clans since they have solid armies to draw on,

Yeah well, in some way it is Altered Melee, I didn't pick Risk/Strategy, cuz I hate Risk and it sounded just...wrong.

I did ask moderators multiple times to remove that old poll and change it though, still no respond.

About that wagon, I thought i might add some kind of "trading" between the clans/factions. For example you buy a wagon, which is controlled by AI, if that wagon gets to your ally base, you both get twice the price of the wagon = profit.
