Field of Conflict (formerly named: Smells like DotA)

This is an AoS type game but with 4 teams instead of 2.
Game Modes are:
- Score Mode - Escort the caravan to your base to gather points. Highest score wins.
- Level Mode - Level up your hero. Highest level of hero wins.
- Kills Mode - Kill enemy units. Highest kills wins.
- Boss Mode - Team up to kill the boss and guard your obelisk.
- Hero Arena Mode - No creeps just heroes and neutral hostile.

Interesting, this is the second time I've seen these maps (First being a Blizzard campaign about the Watchers and Blood Elves trying to 'take' the imprisoned Illidan Stormrage), good luck to it, I might help with Triggers when I'm free:)

You should improve the terrain instead of ripping off a Blizzard map.
May be better to come up with something more original.

Creating your own Heroes would be nice too! Oh, and I might help with some Triggers if you need help.

PS: I'm not that free this year though, so don't expect a lot from me, and my JASS sucks.

Yes its too good to be original, anyway, I may change the terrain once all Heroes/spells/items is done...maybe if you're up for it then you maybe the terrainer?...for the meantime, I hope people will enjoys this...

Keep in mind it's not entirely the best idea to rip off a terrain someone else made. Also, no thank you - I have other priorities that need attending to.

Fun. Looks like a really untraditional AoS.
But name actually sucks. I mean this is far more than Dota. It has not so much in common with Dota. Name some other way without mentioning Dota. Like Caravan Guards/Escort or whatever.

Oh and I'd like to give some ideas... but maybe later.

Yes it is an Aos map, but like what the description says, it supports up to 4 players or bases (2 players minimum) instead of 2, the only difference is that you will gain points/rewards after you successfully capture the caravan to your base, you will also have the option of attacking enemy bases for you to win...but as you can see in the screenshots, there are no enemy structures YET...

You would make me happy if you let me make 1-2 custom heroes as I first posted. I feel like I didn't get an answer if it's possible for me to do that when applying to the 2d jobs.

And speaking of 2d jobs; if you like my example I'll post soon will I take care of them all (loading screen and map preview).

Edit: Missed to tell ya that I'm in school atm. That's why I can't send the image at once.

I was thinking about to make a undead and a tauren hero. But troll n' goblin are okey.
Got some ideas for them already.

Edit 3: I was looking at the hero panel now and saw that you've already decided names for the heroes; I'd really like to change the name for the troll, but the goblin's name was awesome 'nuff :)

i would like to know if:
the spells can be in VJass or should be in any specific category perhaps?
what kind of units you have in your map? is it all player owned units? or is there hostile too?
is there any kinds of allied units for the players?

Truth is, I really dont know neither JASS nor vJASS...you can do it in GUI if you dont mind...hashtables or indexing is fine, it doesnt need to be an epic spell, and btw it's for player owned units/heroes, AI's will use it also...no allied player...

section, as long as it's MUI, has a proper description, has Icons, and credits to the
one who made it - meaning it MUST be complete.

well epic or not, its yours to decide the epicness, hehe...

your screenshots shows that there are units or creeps,
so is there neutral hostile units or what maybe?

no, it does not use JNGP, just the regular 1.24 WE...and yes there are neutral hostile units spawns for you or other player (like Dota) but no custom abilities for them, just for heroes...

this map fights focuses mainly on caravan capture however, you may attack enemy bases and creeps with your first hero and capture the caravan by the second hero...

Strids Brewhorn, Protector of the Horde for the tauren
Tharmas Gravelstomp the Forsaken (/Scourge, depending on time and lore) Legionnaire for the undead.

Edit: Been brainstorming about abilities. I'll post later when I'm done.

Make sure your spell ideas is related to the theme: DotA-like game
So don't suggest an idea of a spell that needs to cast it needs like 30 seconds, because this type of game need fast-pace spell-casting, okay ?
Make sure it fits the theme
