Operation: Swamp
- This will be a short co-op 3-player campaign. The main goal will be to find and destroy the Ja'hai queen, which is a big spider queen located in a jungle. The team counts 3 members: The Commander, The Marine and The Rocketeer (names may change).
They are specialists and futuristic orcs! :thumbs_up:

- The Commander - Leader and suport caller, uses a plasma pistol and stun granades.
- The Marine - Close assault soldier, uses a bullet-based rifle, he's very handy with it.
- The Rocketeer - Heavy armed support, uses a grenade launcher and heavy explosives.


Enviroment:
The base idea is a swamp-like jungle. With rivers and rocks, many vines, shrubs and trees, foggy and wet. The whole planet is a big jungle, green and rainy. Here are some pictures. The first cinematic intro is in space.

Gameplay

- Squad leveling System - I am trying to make a special leveling system, in which you gain experience differently. The heroes will level-up together and then the commander will choose the bonus for all.
- Minerals - Minerals will be gathered and used for upgrades and support calling (Artillery-strike, Med-kits, etc...)
- Reviving - Players will be able to revive fallen ones using med-kits. Also healing is done by using items, too.


I will upload the demo as soon as I create the Heroes, some enemies, spells and the intro.

Resource gathering system?I hoped it would be more like an actual campaign, rpg like, without it being like.I like the terrain, would be cool with some sub boss fights, which are fought in another way, than simply by being stronger.(if you know what i mean).
Also, maybe add choices, that changes the way you play the game.Which means that replaying it, wont actually mean that its totally the same.

A big thing is also how hard the game is.To hard, often means that people dont wanna play it and to easy that it gets boring.Therefore i would suggest to make some quests along the way, which you have to compete in the same time frame as other stuff, which then will make it harder if you actually complete these subquests.
Example:

Main quest:kill spider.

+ Sub quest: rescue bird village from flooding

Rescued= the water that is now stopped, somehow sets spores free that makes the spider grow.Therefore harder.
That kinda style to make things hard and easy, feels more dynamic than just choosing it.
well just a few random thoughts on the project.
