Story
Note: A compilation of Heroes Tale's chapters.
For a long time, Humans lived peacefully. They spent their time trading, hunting and exploring.
One unfortunate day, many people were slaughtered. Witnesses say the acts were committed by demons.
The people began to lose hope. Many of them think that is the end of all things good.

However, these tragic events have not reached our hero's ears yet..

Gameplay
Heroes Tale is a Single Player RPG. You control the Angus, an adventurer. As the story progresses, Angus will grow to become a powerful hero.
Defeating Evil will be hard. You will meet other adventurers, collect powerful items and equipments, explore the land for riches and fame and defeat Evil.

Being a SRPG, You cannot have friends to help you. But in this map, as the game progresses, you will meet other heroes that will help you on your adventure.
Some will help you in certain arcs of the story, while others will accompany Angus throughout his journey.

Description
Socketing SystemA system where gem items are merged into an item most likely into a Magical Equipment to made a new item which we called an advance Magical Equipment with added element based on gem items.
Shop SystemA simple system where you can buy more items. The items are divided into categories and sub-categories.
Scripted BossesThese bosses don't just rely on raw power. Strategies are needed to defeat them.
Scenic TerrainHeroes Tale will feature beautiful sceneries and locations.

I am gladly taking improvements for the terrains! :thumbs_up:

EDIT 1: Terrain changed! The grass have been changed to better fit with the game and to add a realistic effect.

EDIT 2: More parts of the forest has been added with monsters within it!

EDIT 3: Added the screenshot of the Unfinished Terrain of the Lair of the Magical Goddess showing the Magical Goddess and her guardians!

EDIT 4: Added 3 screenshots of the finished terrain of the Lair of the Magical Goddess!

EDIT 5: Added 3 screenshots for the finish terrain of the Blacksmith's House and still a part of the forest!

EDIT 6: Added 2 Screenshots for another improvement of the Blacksmith's House. Changed the house walls!

EDIT 7: Added 1 new Screenshot on the changes applied on the terrain such as it is not flat anymore. Thanks to En_Tropy!

Intresting but can you add a little more of the description is this a RPG type a SRPG or a Melee type of a map

Yes, I will add more description but you can see that it is an Single Player RPG on the Introduction. But even it is an single player RPG, you can control multiple heroes.

BTW, It is really an honor that someone appreciates my project Map! Here's a +REP!:grin:

Hmmmm, you should spend more time on the terrain. A forest doesn't generally look like what you've done so far. You should make trees bigger and place them everywhere since they don't grow in patches or act as walls. Separating zones can easily be done with cliffs, rivers or small hostile camps.

Thank you for the tip. Actually, this is only at the start. On the other area, the trees will be everywhere.

Why didn't you say so? :D here is a nice set of over 20 tiles but you will have to optimize them in order to use them as they are >500 Kb but that's only if the map is meant for battle net. Also, with Jass New Generation WE you can make the map size up to 480x480 and use 16 different tiles at once although I wouldn't recommend making the map over 360x360.

Thanks will put you and that Nan0 on the Credits! This tilesets is really helpful... I wish can give another REP but I must wait again..:xxd:

BTW, I might not worry that much on the game size for it is a Single Player RPG map but you can control multiple heroes for the heroes not be a loner in the game...lol!

There are plenty more where that came from. El B2M's doodads if you would? :) Over 100 Mb of high resolution textures. BUT! if you are planning on using all of them, I'd recommend you optimize them as a too big file size would result in one hell of a loading time.

Hello to all! If any has time, can someone view the Game Boards at my first post and can someone make 1 of those jobs in the Game Boards because I am needing those resources for the game to make it more attractive! I am not really good at doing those but I really need them. Dont worry for they will be appreciated and put at the credits list!:grin:

Well, the new textures sure are something but you should really fix those trees and find some higher res houses :D.

Well, you should start by removing most of the trees. After that you should use the raise/lower tool to make some cliffs here and there, nothing too big, just small ones, like in most forests, then you should start placing trees and, trust me, you should only place a maximum of 4 in a 600 AoE. Also, place them randomly, not in patches as that really takes away from the natural feeling. If you'd like to add more detail, make some kind of shrine or well located in the forest, it is the goddess' forest right? :D Anyway, you can also add small clumps of rocks here and there. For the houses, just make them feel natural, not like they've been built in a perfectly fitting tree hole :D.

A good idea! For the shrine, yes I am planning to put a shrine to but first finding a good place to do will go first. But for the house... What do you meany by natural? Any more information? Ehh.. tree hole not really... I put it there because its like a remote house.

Hmmm... I have seen eubz trees but I think I prefer this tree, HappyTauren's tree. Well, I can't explain it but I think the tree gives me a colorful view and a little Warcraft-ish feeling. Yes, I want to make the game like Diablo III that has 3D trees, doodads and terrains but still I want to give this game a Warcraft-ish feeling. Hope you understand!:grin:

I was talking about this tree. Also, Warcraft 3 IS 3D :D. the only difference is the detail of the models when it comes to terrain. Most things done in Diablo 3 can be replicated in War3, as far as terraining goes.

Yes, that is one well-made tree but I think I prefer HappyTauren's tree because it just gives me a wonderful view or something. Well, anymore improvements you can give other than the tree?

Yes those are in progress now but Im asking him if there are any more suggestions.

I'll be waiting for the beta version of this. I'm always excited to play new orpg games since final fantasy orpg introduced me how fun they was. :) guys me too i need terrain suggestions :D

That will take time but not to worry because I will release demo maps each time I accomplish something at the map.:thumbs_up:

Ow okay can you post a demo map now?

Lol... Its only for the terrain and theres not much to see just the terrain. Im not yet done on making the Boss in the Forest, making the Blacksmith's house and I really need to finish this because the first main quest will involve this place, I still dont have quest and I need to add items not just the 2 items that the main hero is equipping.

So many things to do yet and I am not rushing things. I want to make the game in its best!:thumbs_up:

EDIT: Lol, now I just did find a tile for a house. Good, now I can really finish the terraining for the Forest!
