Story:

The island of Thirinor was long ago inhabited by an ancient race, that modern society knows almost nothing about. Hundreds of years after that race had vanished from the face of the Earth, the human expeditions colonised the island as their own. The Thirinor Naval Base was established. During the scourges massive invasions this island was affected by the corruption and was abandoned and fell into ruin. A brave goblin leader - Stez Firefart, found the island while searching for new treasures along the vast ocean. He liked the strategic position of the island itself (the mountaious woods in the north) and decided to establish a base for his group of goblins.

Current Situation:

Now, 11 years after Firefart's arrival, the Alliance wants to reclaim the island of Thirinor. Luckily, the currents around the island do not allow a mass invasion, so the enemies are forced to come in waves. The strange ruins on the island send an unknown interference, that does not allow distant bombardment directly on the island.

Gameplay:

You will become one of Stez's finest goblins and fight alongside the small number of village guards to fend off many waves of alliance attackers. If you succed - you will face an Admiral. The various shops sell useful items, that will give you different advantages. The max level is 20. Each hero will have 4 spells with 4 levels and one ultimate with 1 level [Ver powerful]. Be careful not to die because each time you lose 30% of your gold! Play as a teamplayer! Each hero has his pros and cons!

Vicory/Defeat:

You lose if Stez Firefart dies.
You win if you manage to beat the boss at the end.

Heroes & Spells:


Technomage:

1. Mass Firebolt: Sends multiple firebolts to a maximum of 3/4/5/6 targets and deals 75/175/275/375 damage.
2. Elemental Aura: The elemental radiance from the Technomage gives a 25% chance that a nearby ally will regain 120 mana, whenver he casts a spell. There's also a 10% chance that an ally will receive MS/ATS increase for several seconds. AoE increases with level: 200/350/500/650.
3. Magical Armor: The armor oh the technomage is enchanted with fire and frost and has a chance to cast a firebolt or a frostbolt every few seconds. Deals 70/140/210/280 damage and stuns for 1.2 seconds.
4. Meteor: Calls down a meteor, which deals gamage to everything it falls on so be careful not to harm allies! Meteor has a 2.5 seconds falling delay!
5. Elemental Burst: Channels her elemental magic so fiercly that bursts of fire and frost start ranging in random directions while casting. Each deals 370 damage. [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Elemental Essence

Technocrate:

1. Energy Shield: Surrounds a unit with energy that deals damage to the enemies of the caster near the target. Deals 20/35/50/65 dps. Lasts 8 seconds.
2. Energize: Energizes the target ally wchich adds armor and damage. Adds 8/11/14/17% damage and 1/2/3/4 armor.
3. Gear Aura: Increases the performance of the gears, that every nearby ally has, thus increasing movement speed and allowing self-repair. Adds 5/10/15/20% MS and 30/60/90/120% HP-regen.
4. Blinding Explosion: Creates a small explosion that releases a huge amount of light, blinding nearby enemies for 9 seconds and dealing (2.5 x Int) damage. They have a 20/30/40/50% chance to miss.
5. Rearm: Resets the cooldown of all the targets abilities if the target has enough mana for this. Costs 325 mana for the caster and 300 mana for the target. [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Power Supply

Fireworker:


Model preview: Incoming!

1. Jumping Bomb: The goblin lobs a special bomb that will jump forward and explode on impact or when the bomb loses her inertia. Deals 160/210/260/310 damage.
2. Critical Impact: The fireworker's carries all kinds of bombs with him. Sometimes instead of his ordinary projectiles he throws a better bomb, which deals 1.6/1.8/2/2.2 times more damage. Has 20% chance to do this.
3. !!NEW!! Napalm Grenade: Hurls a napalm grenade towards a target enemy, dealing 9/17/24/33 fire damage per second for 8 seconds in 225 AoE. Damages only enemies.
4. Crazy Barrel: This goblin always carries a strange barrel with him. Once placed, who knows what will pop out after 7/6/5/4 seconds. Has a chance to heal/replenish mana/damage all heroes nearby or spawn a random critter.
5. Timed Demo Charge: Places a demo charge that will explode in 4 seconds and deal up to 630 damage to all units nearby, including allies! [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Dynamite

Inventor:

1. Create Toy Tanks: Creates two toy tanks near him. Their damage, HP, attack speed increases with level. The last ones have special abilities.
2. Jet Pack Jump: Takes off the ground and lands at a location, dealing damage 80/160/240/320 damage. Cast range is 650/800/850/1100.
3. Goblin Machinery: Upgrades the machinery, that the goblin carries, thus adding 4/6/8/10 strength. Also gives a 5% chance to send an electric shock at an enemy attacker in melee range, dealing 50/65/80/95 damage.
4. Push The Button: Pushes the big red button. There is a 25% chance for each of the following to happen:
- Create an unstable Boom bot, which lives up to 6 seconds and after that explodes dealing a maximum of 215/355/495/635 damage.
- Unleash 3 heat-seeking missiles, each dealing 90/165240/315 damage.
- Knockback all surrounding units.
- Damage himself for 240/280/320/360 HP.
5. Drone Swarm: This goblin's incredible power - to assemble different machinery in mere seconds reaches its peak when he sends 12 fightning drones to attack enemies for 30 seconds. [Ultimate]

Chemist:

1. Healing Substance: Sprays waves of healing substance that heal everyone near the target point. Heals 35/47/59/71 HP per wave.
2. Chemical Aura: The chemicals that radiate from this goblin increase the mana regeneration of nearby allies and slow down HP regeneration of enemies. Adds 50/80/110/140% mana regen.
3. Chemical Bomb: Hurls a flask of acidic chemicals at a target. All nearby enemies will get infected. Deals 7/9/11/13 Dps, removes 1/2/3/4 armor and slows by 40% for 7 seconds.
4. Transmute: Throws a special chemical that destroys a target enemy and gives gold equal to 100/115/130/145% of its bounty. Cooldown decreases with level - 80/70/60/50.
5. Master Heal: Uses all his healing powers to create a burst of healing rays which heal every ally in 550 range for 375 HP. [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Chemical Core

Swordmaster:

1. Spinning Attack: Makes a spin with his sword slicing through nearby enemies. Deals 1.4/1.7/2/2.3 x Strenght in damage.
2. Mighty Hit: The determination of the swordmaster gives him a chance to knockback his target and deal damage. Gives 13/15/17/19% to knockback for 1.3 seconds and deal 40/60/80/100 damage.
3. Spiked Armor: Improving the strength of his armor, the swordsman gains bonus 2.5/4/5.5/7 defence and returns 12/20/28/36% melee damage.
4. Bloodrage: The sword is the swodrsman's pride. It fuses with the rage of the hero, thus adding 8/12/16/20 damage and 16% life steal for 7 seconds.
5. Multislash: He concentrates so much that he becomes able to move at light speed from enemy to enemy slashing through them. They'll never know what hit 'em! Jumps 10 times, dealing (75 + Strength) damage on every hit. [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Katana

Vagabond:

1. Silent Walk: The Vagabond moves so silently for 10 seconds, that noone notices him until he strikes. When he strikes he will stick a bomb to the target unit that explodes in 4 seconds and deals 100/200/300/400 damage. While active, the spell gives 10/23/36/49% bonus MS.
2. Rapid Charge: The Vagabond dashes to the enemy at an incredibly high speed, dealing 27/54/81/108% of his current Movement Speed.
3. Spinestabber: The Vagabond loves attacking his enemy's weak spots. Whenever he manages to attack a unit from behind he will deal [X] extra damage. Also passivly gives 4/7/10/13% MS.
4. Assassin's Skills: The mastery of his skills gives him the ability to burn the energy of the target, as well as dealing additional damage to it. Drains 15/20/25/30 mana. Additionally, enemy units around are scared of the assassin and lose armor. Reduces 1/2/3/4 armor in 300/400/500/600 AoE.
5. Smoke Screen: The caster creates a smoke screen, under which he becomes invisible. Enemy units insdie the smoke have a 55% chance to miss when attacking. Lasts 9 seconds. AoE: 500. [Ultimate]
-> Special Item: Dagger

Shops & Items:


Zong, Zing and Zango

They are three crazy boys which love to experiment with dangerous and explosive tools. Their toys and inventions can be quite handy in the upcoming situation.

1. Land Mine: Places a hidden land mine at a target point. Enemy units that move near the land mine will activate the mine, destroying the mine and causing area of effect damage to nearby units. 2 charges.
2. RC Car: Creates a remotly controlled car, that can detonate for 280 damage. Deals damage to allies, too! (Requires detonator to activate!)
3. Detonator: When used, detonates all RC Cars and TNT Barrels that the owner has.
4. Dynamite: Enables the Fireworker to shoot with better projectiles, which add 10 damage, 6 agility and give 10% chance for an explosion to burst around the target, dealing 175 damage. Can ONLY be used by Fireworker!
5. Loaded Barrel: Places a barrel, loaded with TNT. When activated it deals up to 450 damage to nearby units. Deals damage to allies, too! (Requires detonator to activate!)
6. Shock Grenade: Once activated, shocks enemies in a wide area, dealing 100 damage and slowing them greatly for 5 seconds.
7. Goblin's Special Toy: Creates a small toy-factory which will launch 10 toy helicopters to attack random enemies. After 20 seconds, the factory explodes in a fiery boom.

Bunark

He is the smith of the village. He is an orc, who was captured along with his pet ogre by the goblins. While he now works hard to provide excellent weapons and guns, his pet serves as the mount for the leader of the Firefart Clan.

1. Dagger: This dagger is effective in the hands of a skilled assassin. Gives 10 agility, some HP regeneration and a 10% chance to stun for 1.5 seconds and move the user behind the target. Can ONLY be used by Vagabond.
2. Katana: The special katana is used only by the mightiest weapon masters. It gives 7 strength, 5 agility and a 10% chance to strike the target with great force, dealing 130 damage to all enemies nearby and slowing them. Can ONLY be used by Swordmaster.
3. Reinforced Hilt: The new hilt gives the sword more durability, thus the bearer can strike harder with it. Adds +12 damage. Can ONLY be used by Vagabond or Swordmaster.
4. Sharpen Weapon Sharpens the weapon of the hero, thus permanently increasing strength by 1.
5. Goblin Armor: A very good piece of goblin armor. Provides the bearer with 7 armor and the ability to taunt nearby enemies.
6. Goblin Hood: A nice hood that gives some HP regeneration and the ability to add additional armor to nearby allies.
7. Flashy Powder: The smith applies this strange powder on the users weapon and gives it a chance to petrify the opponent on attack. 20% to add 25 Damage and stun for 1.5 seconds. Can ONLY be used be melee heroes. Cannot carry more than one.
8. Double Barrel Rifle: A powerful gun that gives the owner the ability to shoot a powerful bullet wave that deals 350 damage to all enemies in a line.
9. Mining Pick: With this you can dig the ground in search of useful ores, which then can be combined into powerful items! Takes 2.5 seconds to dig the ground.

Nero Flickerwand

This guy is one of the wisest goblins ever. He has been studying magical artifacts all his life and has acquired quite a lot of them. The experiments of this wise member of the Firefart clan have left him scarred and his body barely even resembles a goblin. Nero has a hungry pet lizard, who has long ago been enchanted by some of the goblin's spells.

1. Elemental Essence: This sphere represents the elemental powers on the Earth. When used by the Technomage's generator it provides 8 intelligence, 4 damage and a 10% chance to trap her target in an elemental trap for 2 seconds. Deals 60 Dps. Can ONLY be used by Technomage. Cannot carry more than one.
2. Golden Ring: This ring has the magical power of gold! The wearer gets a 12% chance to get 5 bonus gold on each kill. Chance does not stack!
3. Amulet Of The Wind: That amulet has the power of the raging winds inside it. On cast it will create a huge tornado, that will damage and pull all nearby enemies.
4. Dimensional Orb: One of the rarest and strangest items on the Earth! This orb gives the hero the ability to teleport a short distance. What is more it can be combined with other orbs to become an incredibly powerful artefact! // Expext more about the item drops soon!
5. Glowing Gem: This green gem improves the vitals and the courage of the bearer. Adds +3 HP/sek; +50% MP regen; +8 Damage.
6. Negative Jewel: A strange jewel that possesses a lot of negative energy. Gives 1 to all stats and on cast releases a wave of negative energy, that reduces armor and damage of enemies in a line.
7. Spirit Crystal: This crystal gives mana regeneration and if the need is dire, can be consumed to refil the user's mana.
8. Life Crystal: This crystal gives life regeneration and if the need is dire, can be consumed to refil the user's life.
9. Mind Gem: Once used this gem will increase the hero's knowledge and mental power, thus permanently increasing intelligence by 1.

Kxar 'Sicktooth'

He is the village doctor and alchemist. His knowledge of potions and herbs is vast, but he likes joking with patients and instead of giving them medical herbs, he trats them with itching-powder herbs or something.

1. Healing Potion: A basic life-restoring potion. Heals 400 HP in 6 seconds. Dispels on attack.
2. Mana Potion: A basic mana-restoring potion. Heals 400 MP in 15 seconds. Dispels on attack.
3. Frenzy Potion: This potion gives a temporary boost in MS and ATS. Can be very useful.
4. Invulnerability Potion: This potion has the power to give the unit godly strength for a few moments. It will render him completely invulnerable for 6 seconds.
5. Dizzy Herb: A very strange herb that makes you feel dizzy but strong. Adds 30% damage but slows MS by 50%. Lasts 11 seconds. Contains 2 charges.
6. Ogre Blood Potion: The fiery blood of the ogres is too strong for goblins. When consumed, this potion will remove all buffs and deal 20 dps and give 100% ATS to the user for 7 seconds.
7. Misty Herb: This strange rare herb has the power to create a mist around the user which gives increased HP regen to all allies and damages all enemies. Lasts 13 seconds.
8. Naga Lure: Throws a piece of meat that will lure a vile naga after 5 seconds. The naga will fight anyone who appraches it, so keep your distance. The naga lasts for 30 seconds or until it dies. Contains 2 charges.
9. Mystery Potion: This potion has been made by Kxar a long time ago and noone has ever bought it. No one really knows what it does. But you are welcome to try it!
10. Chemical Core: This is a radioactive substance. When installed inside the Chemist's backpack reactor it acts as a catalyst. Improves intelligence by 8, damage by 6 and makes the attacks of the chemist poisonous. Can ONLY be used by Chemist. Cannot carry more than one.

Engineer Bramz

That geek is the brother of Stez Firefart. He is a very important person for the Firefart Clan. His laboratory is filled with interesting gadgets and gears. Even Bramz cannot remeber all of his machines. His merchandise can surely be of use to you.

1. Power Supply: The power supply has a great amount of energy inside it. When installed inside the Technocrate's tesla reactors it will give him 8 intelligence, 6 damage and a 10% chance to release a chain lighning on attack. Can ONLY be used by Technocrate. Can not carry more than one.
2. Mini Factory: Further develops the small manufacturing machine that the Inventor carries on his back. He gains 5 strength, 5 intelligence and a 20% chance to create a toy tank whenever he casts a spell. Can ONLY be used by Inventor. Can not carry more than one.
3. Mechanical Parts: Every goblin has something mechanical with him. So these parts are really handy to everyone. They give +5 too all stats.
4. Movement Gears: When applied correctly these gears increase the movement speed of the user by 40. Can be combined with Flexibility Gears.
5. Flexibility Gears: When applied correctly these gears increase the attack speed of the user by 15%. Can be combined with Movement Gears.
-> Combination: (Movement Gears + Flexibility Gears) Full Gear: This is the combination of both speed gears. It provides +15% attack speed and +40 movement speed. Also gives +1 to all stats.
6. Energy Chains: These chains can be used to trap something in them, dealing 20 dps. They will last up to 7 seconds. If the user stops the energy link, the target is released. Contains 5 charges.
7. Ressurection Device: When carried this device has the power to resume the user's heartbeat after death. Avaliable once every 120 seconds.
8. Bomberman: Once activated, this awesome toy will start moving randomly for 20 seconds, placing mines every second. Each mine deals 115 damage and last for up to 50 seconds. Affects allies, too!

10. Ticking Gizmo: When carried this strange gizmo ticks in a rhythm thus empowering nearby allies and the user. Gives +3 to all stats and an 15% ATS aura.

He is the banker of the Firefart Clan. He is from the distant land of Pandaria. Stez employed him to take care of the treasury of the goblins. He has some bad habits, such as gambling. Though this might be useful to you...

A suggestion: Since it's goblins, add like a robot/mecha (Goblin Sapper or something alike) as a hero (or possible buyable unit).

Maybe buyable kamikaze goblin :p

I am working on the hero classes/appearance right now. Expect an update within an hour.

I see you took alot of ideas from my project called Goblin's Tale.

I don't mind. but the only thing that is really bugging me is this.

Only the name got changed almost.

cool! can't wait to learn more about that hero.

and about the first loading screen. it's great, but 1 thing you should learn about nice looking presentation, is that you must keep the same kind of colors.

So.. no rainbow text. If you use green (for example) Use, flashy green, dark green and Yellow.

and about the background idea, well it's a tricky question for me to answer, since our project have the same theme... so If I have a good idea, I would keep it for me, you know what I mean? :D

Okay, Windu - now i'm here ^^ well, yeah, it seems kinda copied, just a bit, but i don't mind. Ya know, Mr. Goblin also tried to make a map called 'Goblin village survival' - ... that speaks for itself, doesn't it?

Oook... It's not like I haven't said in my credits that his project inspired me to do this.
I asked you to give some suggestions/ideas .. that kind of thing. What could be improved, what could be added?

Perhaps tell me how to improve my loading screen, etc.

I'd be glad to hear something like that :)

My idea for items will be to boost int/agility/strength so that heros can specialize in what they do best.
Others will be quite random. Like 5% chance to do ... or 3% to cast. You understand, like samo of the spells.
Btw, do you like the hero concepts?
 
Yeah I love 'em - even though a name like 'specialist' seems a biiit far-fetched. Well - i think you could do some more melees. What about a hit-n-run type (model sapper, perhaps) That has melee attack and abilities, that, for instance, strap a barrel of explosives to the target enemy, run away and wait for it to explode - or smeer a chemical / mud or sum'thin on the enemy in melee range. It could be an agi-based melee hero. With Ultimate, perhaps as 'Kaboom' :3

So... let's see. I have a tank - Swordmaster.
I have a stealth hero which I am making right now. I think he should have that ability to sneak near an enemy and slap him with a bomb :D
I don't think that Kaboom is a good spell for a hero.. after all :D
But there is a spell which summons suicidal (As a random spell) and ther will be suicidal items.

The names - what about them ? What do you think I should change?
I think that my stealth hero will be with a hit and run tactic.
Have any ideas how to balance support heroes, so they get kills, too ? (Though medic has a passive, which gives him money on cast.)

Well - I think you could balance the support heroes out, by letting them have a more-than regular-tactical-n-powerful attack. - perhaps add 1 bounce to one of them, and extra range to another.

Specialist could be changed to 'Hand of power' or 'Electicity X(sum'thin)' - Specialist doesn't do it, m'afraid.

And medic - It's given, that this is an alchemist - who produce gold for himself, dangerous toxins and helpful substances. You could also name it like, Mixer, or something.
 
Okay, Windu - now i'm here ^^ well, yeah, it seems kinda copied, just a bit, but i don't mind. Ya know, Mr. Goblin also tried to make a map called 'Goblin village survival' - ... that speaks for itself, doesn't it?

It is the same base Idea, Goblins on an island that have to defend themselfs.. but beside that, there's nothing really close from each other's project.

The classes are different, the marchent are different, the spells are different, the items are different. Beside, me and Windu have been talking lately to make shure we didn't made the same stuff. Some nice concepts he has, I won't make them in Goblin's Tale and Vice versa.

(Sorry about being off-topic).

Now that has been said, it's 2 completly diffrent projects.

And nice new heros again Windu. Tought spell descriptions could be cool! :D

You showed us the hero description with their spells. But, you haven't shown us what each spells does. :D

Well, the waves will consist of humans and undead, yes. Just like my story goes.

But levels will not be that boring way - Level 1 ->15 peasants; Level 2 -> 15 Footmen
I think of making mixed waves. Each of them will be customly made. (Though I have to figure out how the timer will know what wave to send)
Every few levels a champion will come, And there will be like 3-4 bosses and 2 Generals at the end.
There will be necromancers, ofc :D

I still don't know whether Level 1,3,5,7 etc will be human, and 2,4,6... -> undead or each level will consist of one attack from the humans and one from the undead, or it will be random. I would like some suggestions, about that.

And about following what you say - your ideas are really good, so yeah.. 10x ^^

I've thought of that, too.
The two spawn points are west and east. AS the story says those are the only points in the island where ships can land (because of the curretns).

I've thought of adding neutral spawns for extra intensity. Sounds great.
Magic immune creeps will come, too, ofc. (Some will have magic resitance, other spell immunity)

Btw, I am back on my computer, so expect to see the last hero soon ;)
(And ofc, the minimap and the spell descriptions, which I will add in a cool preview)

Changes (according to suggestions):
Medic:
1. Changed name to Chemist
2. Changed bloodlust skill to Chemical Aura (+mp regen & -hp regen (for enemies))
3. Changed passive payment skill to active -> Transmute
Specialist:
1. Changed name to Technocrat

So:
The minimap image is created and shown!
The new hero/spell descriptions are on their way.
The Vagabond hero has 3 spells now (2 in progress).

The terrain looks awesome and I realy love the shops's details.
Heroes seems cool too, but I can't say much since I can't play with them...

Thanks. Soon I hope you will be able to play a beta or something. Btw, right now the terrain is being remade /again/. The village is getting even bigger and more spacious.

I'd really love to see a beastmaster goblin or something ... though I guess modelers aren't so easy fo tind ...
