Then finishing a demo for your map would be a great gift for yourself

I don't know if I alone have this opinion but it feels insulting to say bluntly that your map will be a directors cut. You have no definite gameplay, no real solid ideas... And this isn't your first map to be a "directors cut". When you think about it we all work hard on our own maps but most of us are humble, apparently though humility is a novel concept. And the rating of directors cut is chosen by moderators. Simply saying that you are going to make a directors cut project does not make it so. By doing so you have taken the spotlight off of many other maps. This has offended me.

To be fair not everything submitted to the map section has been worked hard on. And setting the goal of "Director's Cut" is a good way to stay motivated, although it may have a touch of hubris.

Saying your work would be a director's cut isn't really a problem, you can say everything you want about your map, but all can only be prove when the map is finish

Also, dont use Vegas. Just use Adobe After Effects.

@maddeem I fully understand your opinion as it is shared with many others. As I mentioned before we are going to release a video featuring me playing some of the content that we have as soon as this is done: A quick request! +rep to all who helps!
If the complains continues after that we might consider renaming the thread.
@Drunken_Jackal Even one of the teachers at my school is telling me that... I might try it out.

We do have very solid ideas, the game's planned till the end and everything's on paper. It's just a matter of what we give out at this point. I think this was mentioned before in the thread. We're sorry if the topic title and our goal has offended you, but that's just how things are - we're going for this rating.

Dunno if anyone has pointed this out yet, but the felwood sky looks just terribly out of place there with the blue fog. Make up your mind, either a normal sky and a blue fog, or the felwood sky with a darker fog that matches it.

^ Just noticed it now, but hes definitely right.
Just weird. Choose a sky which matches the blue fog. Maybe like a blue sky.

The sky is not seen inside the actual game. Can't you tell the difference between World Editor screenshots and in game screenshots?

This looks like another dimension. I would like to hear what are the horrors in this map. What are they, specters, robots, demons, vampires, snakes, wolves, what is in this map?

I subscribe to the Animalpower's question.
Horror forest... hmn? I don't really know whether this forest will be arousing any distress/fear. In my opinion it doesn't have so much of horror climatic.

Sounds are going to deliver 80% of the fear you will constantly have while playing. You will notice this as soon as the gameplay video is coming up.
We are not yet, if at all, revealing the horrors that the map will have. That is for yourself to find out. All that I can say is that most of you wont even finish this map due to it being too scary for you to play. If you played Amnesia you know this feeling.
