Classic TD v1.1

Game About
Classic TD, a TD map much like those found in flash game websites like www.y8.com. When the game starts, player 1 will be able to choose the terrain and players have to survive for 30 levels having 40 lives. This game requires tactic like all TDs, build your towers at strategic points where you will be able to do the most damage to the creeps.

You post that you need 1 trigger helper, yet you have a post by MistAssass offering to help :hohum:

Well, we live in a different time slot, so we cant really discuss much. Oh, anyone knows how to do waves trigger whereby when a wave starts, every second a creep will come out like Gem TD or Sprout TD? Not the maul type where all appear at once.

If you use a Timer for the wait time between waves, you can use the same timer and make it run every 1 second or something. Then you can run the spawning trigger again and again, using a global to track how many units have been spawned. When the spawned units reach the same number as the maximum, you start the Timer for the next round or something. That's the basic idea.

I am using timer, for example a when the wave starts a 40 sec timer will start and in every second, one creep will spawn meaning 40 creeps. However, this will require me to make lots of triggers and variables! Luckily mistassas can help me :) oh, and my msn hasnt been updated and i cant use it. =P and thanks!

Finally! A simple TD with minimal imbalance (right?)

I really miss those days with all the simple towers that kill the nice little creeps. Nowadays its all about crazy damage and insane speed. I'll be waiting for this to be released!

BTW, those Flash TDs are pretty good :D

Yaknow... all those high-code-shinyshine TD's are pretty cool, but when i sat down and played the new YouTD with my brother, i begun missing the oldschool stuff. A TD that is so advanced that it should rather be called a SDS: ICOAUNTHDWW* simply makes you miss the time when a big TD had 70 Towers.

So if you could send me the map so i can make that race and its towers, it would be cool if you do it soon =) Also, you should know that i SUCK at tooltipping. You better polish them abit when you get back the map ;)

Haha no problem. Oh, can you do something on like microsoft word or something with all the tower damage, range, attack type, gold cost and if they have any special abilties or upgrades or cannot attack air. Thanks! :)

Okay ^^ One last thing: I were thinking of making something with lightning and ice. Halfway through it, i thought that there might already be a race with that. Can you give me a list of races already created?

So far, there is only classic and cannoneer. :)

My race is running abit late. I were hoping to have it today, but i use too much time dabbling in the effects and looks =P I can't really say when its finished.

Hey guys, before telling me your tower/race ideas, there are somethings to consider!

1. There must be 6 or more towers in every race whether it is built or upgraded
2. Every race has to have atleast 1 upgrade
3. Do not use any Wintermaul races xD

I'm beginning to understand the system the map works in, so i'm trying to fit the race into it as much as possible ^^
I am using a paladin model for the builder, so to preven't hero glow i set the builder's team color to red and removed all red color from the unit. (Therefore leaving all team-color marked places black.) I hope it's okay, i just personally hate normal units with hero glow. =(

I always have a hard time getting a good screenshot on units. =)

Oo okok. One upgrade as in tower. For exaple from Arrow Tower Level 1 to Arrow Tower Level 2. Thanks for the tower screenie thing! Taking it from world editor is a lot easier than from ingame. :)

Yap I realise the creeps dont give bounty yet and another thing is the game still dont work for other players except red. Well, lightning is more of a speed tower race, not really for bouncing (is that idea from chain lightning?). lol, there are still many choices! :grin:
