enjoy: Nice icon, fits the model well. But, the figure is kind of hard to make out. Might be useful.

Hm yes indeed it does, and its very useful, beside fitting the model it can be used as a spell like, lighting soul or something... 5/5 +rep

I don't like the empty space in the top left corner, try with some sparks in order to cover it.

Don't know how that sparks will be looking at ATC and PAS icons. If you wish I could try though.

Well, completely blank background does it's work mostly at Item Icons. Some sparks I mentioned or even simple Triglow would do the job of not making it empty. It's approvable, thought.

Erm, focus more on the actual unit. It looks more like an ability icon at the moment (evade), because you show too much of the body.
Also, don't try to completely recreate the original unit, unit icons that aim towards that don't look good. Add your own personal style and something special to it.
Example: the ingame icon of Shades don't depict the original model, but an abstract version + fitting gesture, focused on the upper body/face.

First attempt was an unit's portrait, and it was not so good as I tried to do, so I will left this as it is. I am not so professional in lightning units to remake them. And yes, I have chosen that as ability resource too. Thanks for feedback.

Yes there are alot of blank spaces, fill in with little bits of sparks coming off the creature, also the spark on the top left looks kinda weird just floating there, do something with that.
Lastly, focus on the elementals eyes , i cant really see them and it throws the whole concept away if the eyes are not really there.

The pure black background is just ugly. Find a way to bypass that obstacle, and I'm approving this.
