Abit hard to see with that purple part :/....maybe try to focus on the overall reflective lights of the shape rather than the details?

Personally, I prefer the older version. It looks more like two cannons. The new icon only makes me feel that there are two purple pipes one beside the other. Don't get me wrong, I still like the icon but I feel you should increase the diameter of the cannons and make them broader.

Unlike SF I like the new version, it's just that the ship's hull seems undefined or too blurred.
