immolation vs heavy armor

does immolation deal extra damage to units weak to magic that have heavy armor? For example, would the cloak of flames(10 damage per second) deal extra damage (11+ damage) to a druid of the claw?

why dont you test it out?

make it 100% damage increase from magic then check if its doing double damage.

you mean adjusting: data- damage per duration to 100 per second? Maybe I'm not understanding what you mean by making it, " 100% damage increase from magic."

in gameplay constants, make damage taken from magic damage on the Heavy armor to 100% then test if your immolation deals double dmg.

does the ability, item immolation count as magic damage? I set constant, combat damage bonus table magic to 100.00 on large, and the damage was 10 vs the druid of claw. Didn't change, so I put 4.00, and the result did not change. Am I doing this right? I have not been able to increase immolation's damage against foes with heavy armor. I would like for them to take extra damage without increasing immolation' s base 10 per second damage.

Thanks for your help, I changed spell bonus damage and was able to obtain what I needed.

I think that immolation and other spell/ability based counts as 'spell' damage type.
