delay in ladder games?help

i can host and of course i dont have delay, but when in ladder games i have 1 second delay, its not much but its annoyin for microing, i was going to download a delay reducer but soeone said that doesnt affect laddergames.

shud i download delay reducder, wud it work in ladder?


ne suggestion of what i can do?

p.s i live on east coast of united states but i like to play in the west realm.

well delay is usuallly because slow internet connection. try to turn some heavy internet programs off (like skype).

Yea, well I have ladder delay, like a second, but i've grown used to it. As much as I would like instant response, we can't all have perfect internet huh? I live in New Zealand and I play on Europe server (probably explains my delay D:). Things I do to make my internet run better is to turn off all internet related programs open, also I find if I turn off the sound and music in-game it goes faster Oo. Eventually if you stay with this minor delay, your actions during the game will get used to the idea, however you must be alert to perform your actions at the correct time. As for the Delay reducer, I have no idea if that would work, if it were my choice, i'd work with what I had.
