Unpausing a unit removes buffs. Why?

I made a unit cast Immolation. Then i pause the unit, do some special effects and when i unpause the unit, immolation buff is gone. Why this happens?

When you pause a unit all of its spells stop.

It literally "pauses" the unit. A paused unit can't cast Immolation >>

Not true, auras and passives still opperate when a unit is paused. Permant immolation remains active and deals damage. Auras still affect the paused unit and surrounding units. Evade still causes the unit to dodge attacks I think even if paused.

Also all buffs that are on a unit should remain on a unit while paused.

Could it be that the buff icon still shows while paused, but the buff itself was already gone when you unpaused it?

Anything that isn't passive (an active spell) will be disabled when you pause a unit.

You r right avator, pausing the unit doesn't remove immolation. Unpausing it does.
