Is there a way to scale the Missile-Art?

Hi there.. perhaps you can help me. I created a unit based of a Doodad Model and gave it a MissileArt so the Unit can shoot. The Problem is that the missileart is way to big for the unit. I don't want to make the unit bigger so i have to scale the missile smaller. There's a entry called something like "Art - Scale Missiles" but i think this one depends on the Unit's scale because i can see no field to scale only the missileart. Any idea's?

well, first the missile art size is depending on unit size, if your unit is small then so is the missile, again you can always use model editor to make the missile smaller.

You could create an invisible dummy unit that is the correct size for the missle, and create/destroy one whenever you want your unit to attack.

thats alot of work iron_warrior, and you cant predict when the missile will hit the target, if the target is far range/close range.

Indeed, but there really isn't anything else you can do except scale the model down. Which isn't that bad, since the skins would already be in and projectiles take up little to no KB space.

no, that just means it will scale it relative to the unit. So if the unit has a 0.5 scale then the missile will have a 0.5 scale, this is not what he wants.

Personally I dont think you can without resizing the model itself.

I know, but not everyone knows to resize missiles, as they involve many particle emiters which look wierd when scaled down/up.
