Question Terrain texture/connection

I'm sure there's a way to change how a terrain links to an other, which one of them is under the other and how its "borders" look like... For example in the small single-player map which I have downloaded from this site, "The Centaur", the palette contains normal Lordaeron terrains, but the grass is under the dirt, so that it looks like a road...
Can you tell me how to edit terrains' borders?...
(perhaps somebody has already asked it, but I couldn't find it with "Search Before Posting!")

Couldn't you provide a screenshot to show us exactly what you mean?

I've seen this many times in many maps, but never had a idea how they did it.
Maybe it's flattend?

No. It is about the order of terrain tiles. The tile you put first will be rendered first, and the one you put last on tile list will be rendered last. I always use it, to make nice sand and grass colisions, or grass > path collisions.
