[Unsolved] Need help importing Spells

Hi I don't know if this goes in the part of the hive. Anywho Ive never imported a spell so If you could help that would be great. Also I hear about "Dummy" Units which I don't understand what their used for.

Dummy units is invisible units, wich cast the 'real spell'. Mostlikely.
A dummy spell, canbe a spell, wich is just an effect.

When a spell needs a dummy unit, its cause its needs some caster of a type, wich isnt the real hero.

when you import spell, you must import the spell itself, the possible trigers to that spell with all variables and if needed, dummy unit

Restor is right. Read threads about dummies. There is nothing hard about them.

Ill get on that where would i find these threads about dummies?

Use "search" button in this forum section or in triggers/scripts section. It's a bit higher than the first thread on the right side of page. There is many threads about dummies.

Oh alright. Thanks but when I physically try to get the triggers for the spells how would I import them?

open spell map, right-click the trigger -> copy trigger -> open your map -> paste trigger

important: go to file -> preferences -> check "create unknown variables when importing trigger data" BEFORE you import the trigger, then you don't have to recreate the variables
