How to make units able to give items to non-allies?

I'd like the units in my map to be able to give items to units that are not allied. Is that possible? Thanks for any replies.

There is some way. You can add an event, which is if a unit drops an item, then give the item to a random ennemy unit, in 200 range, or so.

yes, or maybe create a dialog box if there are more units that asks who do you want to give too

a good way,
add a dummy ability, cast it on enemies only.
trigger it so that when it is cast, it gives the item in the bottom right slot to the target of the spell.

This should work :)

Yep, just copy n paste fireball or something that targets 1 enemy unit.
set dmg to 0 etc, and stun to 0, then trigger it.

unit begins casting an ability
Ability being cast = dummy ability
Give item in slot 6

just like that.

Yeah do a dummy spell and when the spell is casted give item form slot X.

The spell has X level so you can decide the item you want to give away.

I meant that I wanted to make units able to give items to enemies, not just give items to enemies.

It's quite easy, you can't, that's wc3, you can only use some tricks with indirect item giving.
