Gate open and close command trigger?

I made triggers for all my gates that are pretty simple.

But if the gate is at half health and you open it, then close it, its back at full health. Same thing for when it dies. If you use the open or close commands it respawns.

I need to know how to fix this because it will be a real problem in my map.

You could store health in trigger...

Like:

Event:
Set GateLife = "hp of the gate" I dunno the exact trigger
Open Gate;
Set hp of gate to GateLife

If you want the gate to not work anymore when it is destroyed, you can do

Event - Unit is killed (Gate)
Conditions - None
Actions - Turn trigger (Gate opening trigger) off

For storing health I think Dark Angel's thing will work.

Store the health inbetween stages. Save its health when it opens. You then set it to the stored life when it closes.

To do this use some kind of numeric variable.
