Question about Reps
I was wondering, depending on what i read on the sticky:

I think i didnt understand this correctly, but should i have 200 reps to what?
once again i dont think i understanded it correctly!
who are the others? how do they get the rep? and should i have 200 rep points to give 1 rep? this needs damned explanation!
ps i know im acting like a little stupid here, but seriously i didnt understand it.
off-topic: "who are the others?" this reminds me of the tv show "Lost" :))

If you have below 200 rep, you give 1 point. If you have 200-399, you give 2 points. If you have 400-599, you give 3. Etc.

It is your reputation power. If you have 200 reputation, when you give someone rep, they get 2 points, 400 = 3 points.

Not really, but there's not much chance your rep will go above 1000 (5 rep power) for a LOOOOONG time. I've been here for a year or so and still I only have 220.

i guess so.
because i remember i gave Archian a +rep, it didnt appear in his latest rep recieved list.
that was yasterday, still it didnt appear.

the problem which accured was that the rep looked like a square, not that green octagon (or whatever it is), and i found it doesnt increase the number of Reps you have
thats what i was wondering about, and still dont know.
