SSB Brawl: best game?

Brawl, good game, best game, or do you have no soul?

I think because it just released, and due to the Wii sucking, mot many have tried it. We didn't all pre-order Brawl. I won't be getting a Wii until they cost $100.

I walked into best buy to get a movie. Saw smashbros and got it. Haven't even tried it out yet.

We have a release date for bloody Mario Kart and still no release date for Smash Bros Brawl

Seriously, hurry the bloody hell up with releasing it Nintendo. I want Smash Bros. already

unfortunately I don't have Wii I rather bought a 360 for halo But I loved the Gamecube version. Just a question is it true that you can play it with a Gamecube controller? I hope my mate (who've got Wii) will buy it

Anyways i would only take an Xbox 360 Elite.. if i should take a console.. Good games.. As good as a ps3 and you can add memory by USB (Appareantly because my bro has an 1 Terrabyte harddrive connected to it lol). So..

Ok this thread was mainly meant as a fanboy joke to see who all was pumped about the game.

To Sansui, are you being serious when you say all the SSB games are crap? Have you even played them? I'm going to assume you're just countering my fanboyish poll with that statement, as you have no reasons supporting.

Sansui... go play a professional SSB gamer. Then come tell me it's button mashing. Sure you hit a lot of buttons, but things like wave dashing are not mashing. It's really hard to do properly, especially with characters like Bowser.

SSB (IMO) is the best fighting game you can buy. Very fun, well balanced, and the glitches in SSBM made it all the more fun. Brawl (according to my friend who has it) is really well balanced, and fun. Although wave dashing, and other related glitches are removed. : (

Mecheon might be in Europe, or Australia. They get games later I think.

ANY fighting game can be called "button mashing" in the hands of the unskilled.

Once again, no real reasons other than "OMG IT IZ TEH BUTTON MASH". I'm guessing you play games that require "lots of skill" and are for "incredibly mature audiences".

Mecheon comes froms the land of the Aussies unless he moved to some other far away land in the past 2 weeks. Its still TBA 2008 in Australia as I recall.

Its a fighting game for people who cant play real fighting games, no skill and childish.

Ironic that your on a wc3 board then, considering half of the warcraft games are "make and select units and mash down at the other teams"...and yes, warcraft 3 is a strategy game. However, it can be played that way. As can Brawl. However, im assuming you were playing computer opponents. Alot of people can fight computer opponents. Actual strategy to your attacks though will get you much farther though against a real player, just like how sending a ton of strong units till the enemy dies is a terrible plan in Warcraft 3.

How do you like it when a poll is totally rigged for one side? Whats that, you do not? Then why did you make it rigged towards SSBB being the best game of all time when it is clear that others will have the total opposit of your opinion about it.

SSBB is not the best game of all time, and probably will barely make it to the top 100 best games. Ontop of its backwards graphics, the lack for obvious modern day communications is apparent. Also from looking at the youtubes of all chars moves, some seem to be noticably a lot better than others which ruins the point of the game. This game has snake in it, who is not even nentindo and whos lattest game is not even comming out for WII showing how cheaply made it was. The game is only comming out for WII while other systems like Xbox360, PS3 and PC(with XP/Vista) are even better for such a game as they not only support larger media size (by about double or more), but they support voice chat, better graphics and propper backing store (not some wimpy capacity that was small for the year 1998). Also I dought we will be seeing any patches for this game as, like said eariler, the WII does not have a large storage capacity. Also the addition of sonic lowers is score even further, as that character is totally out of place. Also this game took far longer than needed to be made and released, and like stated still is not released in europe.

As you can see, all polls should be neutral, as there will always be one person of each side of the neutral line.

I still would get the game if I had a WII, but currently their crappy controlers on top of everything else is no major selling point.

I haven't played it yet, but I can't wait to. The past two were classics, I don't expect much less from this one.

I admit that posted this in the wrong section, and that looking over it now it belongs in the Something Else subforum. Changing the words of a person to make them look bad is not part of what an admin does...
