I hate republicans. I'm not even a democrat, I'm just an anti-republican. The vast majority are idiots who contradict themselves or believe things that don't make sense. I'm sure some democrats are idiots too, but not as many.

I'd say the same about democrats. I'm not republican, I'm just anti-democrat.

Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, be it what you will, Sarah Palin is an idiot regardless.
She's an average person. An average person shouldn't be running for potential president.

I feel comfortable with an average person as a VICE-PRESIDENT, since if McCain wins (which nobody is speculating last time I checked) that's what she'd be. Unless McCain keels over, then yea. Too much focus on her instead of McCain though, who's actually running for the presidency.

You obviously don't know the function of Vice Presidents.
They should not be underqualified by any means.
Anyways, my favorite Palin image is:

If you watched the debate, this yields so incredibly true.

I wouldn't say she's an average person. Her career is exactly what a career of a politician should look like. She started with a small town, then went for a governor, now a vicepresident candidate. An average person doesn't usually govern Alaska.

I'm anti-democrat.
...and anti-republican.
...and anti-everything else.
When you have a position of power, the wrong people will seek it.
Even what Ron Paul can do as president is limited.

It's Alaska. She's definitely an average person, as mentioned by about everyone who's watched her be interviewed/watched the debates.
And Saber, she's effectively running for president. With McCain's health record, what do you think the odds are of him dying in office? Not that bad.

If I were an American citizen I would be considering myself republican, yet I must say that what I have seen of Palin so far, she appears to be chosen solely for being a female, a way to gather more votes to the republican party once it's election time. Can't say I like the choice, but they must have weighed the pros and the cons and come to this conclusion.
