Yeah, he won an ema-award - accoring to a blogsite, he gained 95% of ALL votes which were given during the votingtime which is over one billion of votes xD
Sadly, he was too shy to actually get the award (besides the fact that the MTVchef first refused to hand him the award) - I pity him for that D:
Prehaps he's gonna perform an act...

I voted over 2000 times for him myself. The 4chan guys took it upon themselves to make sure that Tokio Hotel and U2 didn't get that award.

The last part says this:

I tried to spread the word at first, but gave up after 3 of my friends in a row had never heard of Astley... people these days, I swear!

Wait, people who haven't heard of Rick Astley exist? Impossible! I don't think I know a single person who doesn't know who Rick Astley is. I mean, look around you, and you're bound to get Rick rolled.
