My fear has dissipated!
That's right! My fear of Kaepora Gaebora has worn off (proof can be found in my very own avatar)! He is now my best friend, most intelligent adviser, and most powerful ally. And let's not forget my desktop backround!

I watched a video of him (five minutes long) like 3 times when my psychologist posed the question: what's so scary about him? When I couldn't answer, my fear passed.

There was this commercial when I was a kid. It featured a huge squirrel head, with a child's propeller hat and a grin that stretched across two thirds of the TV. The rest was mostly filled with it's big, black, smiling eyes.
The horrid figure would pop up, then after 5 seconds, with a morbidly-pitched voice utter the name of some chocolate product.
I swear, I'm still scared shitless from that squirrel. No, I'm serious. It stalks me through my nightmares.

So yeah... I was scared of Kaepora Gaebora AND the Lon Lon Ranch song since I was three. Now I have the chance to play Zelda without any trouble! The only problem is that, well... the water temple is a royal pain. Oh yeah, and if you look closely at my avatar, you'll see that it says "ORLY?" and, for replies, it says "SRSLY" and "NO WAI!!"

I spent roughly an hour trying to glitch Zelda: OoT so I could go around that stupid owl, lol. obviously I just had to wait through his long, long, long speech; and then when it was over, I was pressing the A button rapidly so when it said 'Would you like to hear that again?' it was already on yes and I had to wait TWICE! AAKKK! stupid owl.

Anyone who could see into the mind of the developers could clearly tell that was done to troll the player.

EDIT: I've found it
Ya the Pic doesn't scare me much. But when I was like 8 I got fucking scared SHITLESS

Ever do the Return to Terror Tower one or whatever? That was my favourite.
Also, the Halloween one... The Mask I think it was called, that picture scared the SHIT out of me. Plus all the ones with Slappy the demented and psychopathic dummy.

Yes, he's hacking your computer now and stealing all the credit card information your browser leaves carelessly lying around.
