Hello members of the Hive.. for a school project i will create a Texturing tutorial (don't ask me why... i just can! :P)

but to be shure to have a good scrore, i need to know .

--> What's the diffrents between a Good Tutorial and a Bad one, and why?!

i always tought a good tutorial needed
-->Texts are easy to understand..
-->Nice and attractive Title , image, color
-->Good informations
-->Good tips
--> ??!

now i need your answers ... and if i keep your idea, I will +rep you :D

PLEASE ANSWER THIS CAUSE ITS REALLY IMPORTANT for me..

Btw for those who might ask .. in my texturing tutorial you will find

-->Learn how to make shadow
-->Learn how to respect the shape of the model while your texturing
-->A Bank of 40 Textures that i will show you how to make by yourself...
-->Good skinning tips
-->Examples for each textures...

and DO NOT STEAL MY IDEA .. cause than i will hate you for ever.. and my project will be ---> FAILURE

I think you should ask people to analyze your strengths and stick to those strenghts when making your tutorial. I also think you should have put this in texturing & surfacing. You would likely get more relevant comments. I know you are kind of talking about tutorials in general but what makes a good/bad tutorial depends alot on the subject.

hum i understand your point.. well i guest will ask a moderator to move this thread :P and also its part of the project put alot of effort to it... for example for my english .. will review and reread 1000 times.. the final of the tutorial to remove each mistakes... and i will also add more things or remove more things as people tells me what they like or don't like..

Well if you are concerned about your english then you might want to ask a family/friend (with good english abilities) to review your tut.

make sure you are putting it into the scenario of a noob.


(So pretend a noob is reading it the whole time)
