Global Warming - Our Fault?
Global warming, what’s your point of view on it? Do you believe it’s our own fault? Or is it “God” doing this?
Think about it – God can do many things. The dinosaurs might of died from God’s doing, thinking they were imperfect. Now, with our intelligence, we’ve found out many of the reason’s why the dinosaurs have died. Now, little by little He may be taking away the Ozone layer, trying to make us think it is our own faults.
Slowly He could be doing this trying to kill us, thinking again, we are imperfect, and he’ll start all over again with a new creation. So tell me, what do you think is happening with global warming? Our own faults? Or some other being?
Please note: I was using God as an example. It doesn't necessarily have to be Him. It could be something else. But truely, what is your aspect on Global Warming (can be used as G.W.)?

Modern science has already proven that we did this to ourselves. If you think that god made us think that we discovered a way to find out we did this to ourselves on purpose, then you're obviously crazy.

I think it's your fault. I had nothing to do with it.

Let's remember guys, the Earth has been on a warming trend since the end of the last major ice age.
The introduction of additional greenhouse gasses by humans in the the last hundred and fifty years or so has just contributed to, certainly not caused, global warming. As the Earth's lifespan continues other ice ages will be inevitable, we'll then be on a "global cooling" trend. One can't discount geology and plate tectonics: they dictate climate change far more than do we peon humans.

I concur Wolverabid.
While humankind indeed poses several environmental threats, let us not forget that mother nature is as her name suggests, like a woman.
She periodically goes on a period, and all hell breaks loose, then she cools down, and then the next month she gets mad again...we children simply maker her madder by wrecking our bedrooms with pollution.

Actually, it began way before that when the first bacterium was made I think, I know it started before the dinosaurs.

Nay, I must disagree.
According to modern timelines, After the age of the Dinosaurs (warm period) a series of several ice ages occured, (I believe it was during the several rises of certain mammal ages) with warming periods in between.
Though I may have to check up on that.

Archebacterium I believe, when the land was still young. Atleast that's what I remembered from my text book.

Don't forget the sun, it allows the Earth to play with weather to begin with.

To add to wolverabid, trees give off CO2 at night. There are quite a lot of trees in the world. More than our cars and factories.
I think pollution is more of the problem. The earth warming is natural IMO. We are killing ourselves and the environment with pollution though.

Err, I'm pretty sure trees absorb CO2 Gilles.
Its not sufficient to save the world, but they don't give it off...

yes, trees take in C02 during any time of the day I suppose and realease oxygen into the air so we can live.

Remember; before I said I was only using God as a metaphor.

During the day they take it in. At night they let it out. I forgot that it is less. So in general I suppose it actually lessens the amount in the air. Although read these articles (Or skim them like I did).
Here is one article about the rain forests. Link
Another about trees releasing CO2 at night.

Ah ok, didn't know that little bit.. I just knew there was an overall consumption of CO2.
