I need a suggestion , which of these item systems should I use ?

Hey people , I really need your opinions on this . The map is : Champions of the Island [Hero Arena] . I need your opinions , which of these item systems should I use :
1st .: normal item system , items and recipes , only 4 slots in inventory but using multiple inventorys system : InvX: Extended inventory and extended items 1.8 - Wc3campaigns , allowing to have few different builds available for swapping .
2nd .: RotG style , only 1 weapon , armor and artifact allowed , and they can be enchanted with elements , bash , damage , attack speed , damage and various other upgrades (only 1 upgrade at a time)
3rd .: each hero already has 4 items especially for him , which can be upgraded with hundreds of different upgrades using Hero Refinery

The first sounds too boring, and the third sounds too complicated. The second is juuuuuuuuuust right.
