LOL PETA! Those PETA extremists are completely retarded... I should take a box of KFC and go to one of their conferences (if they have them) and just start devouring some chicken. One time this PETA person was putting PETA stickers on some cat food in a Wal*Mart. The sticker said "*what ever brand name was* tortures animals in cages" Anyway, I call those types of people "PETAphiles"

I generally hate on furries as a joke, but furries that think they have a community that isn't just a community fetish do bug me. Sometimes it's just a thing, but a lot of the time it's a fetish, and most of that time it's a fetish that freaks associate with even worse fetishes.

In general, "otherkin" refers to people that actually believe that they are mythical creatures reincarnated, although people that pretend to be for whatever period of time would likely be considered otherkin for that period of time. The typical riposte to anything stupid an otherkin says is "stfu I'm a dragon."

I have nothing against furries... Furries that roleplay to extreme lengths, in my opinion, are just unique. More expressive than what can be understood by "normal" people.

I'm still not exactly sure what a "furry" is. But I like animals, especially wolves.

I mean, in the extreme form, like a man who kept his girlfriend on a leash because she was his pet, that's just scary. But it's just as creepy in the extreme form as extreme emos that cut themselves or anything like that, so how is it different?

Women as pets is a slightly more common fetish than you would hope. If it's consensual it's just a (hugely) weird kink, and I can't really see how it wouldn't be consensual, with the exceptions of kidnapping etc.

I myself having furry qualities, I dont see my self as an official furry and I rarely take part in the fandom. When I do, i mainly do it for personal reasons and not to be apart of the community in the fandom.

The furry fandom is no different than other fandoms. There will always bad apples and extremists, thats to be expected in all groups of people regardless the theme.

What gives the fandom a bad name is the extremist that simply take it too far. That being those that "claim" and "believe" they are actual bestial aspects in a sense they are physically and or psychologically rather than spiritually. And I dont mean gentle beliefs, I mean aggressive ones, stubborn and ignorant beliefs.

And those that simply spoil it and divert the fandom into a darker scene. Particularly those that bring their sexuality AND the fandom together and keep them of close priority as eachother, thus diluting the fandoms purpose and theme. The sexuality in the fandom is just far too pushed and merged with the theme of the fandom, but this is to be expected obviously. But what makes the fandom have a bad name in this is those that associate the fandom AS sexual. It spreads like a plague when people get the wrong impression by perverts.

My view on fandom is that is clearly acceptable as man and beast/animals have much in common and that it would be human nature to have some sort of connection, association or "love" but the sexual side is to be taken in moderation and the REAL purpose of the fandom must be acknowledged and taught where it cant be fouled by the bad apples that divert the fandom.

My experiences have shown me the fandom brings together alot of creativity which are those being artists and writers and affinity for animals (forcing more animal rights, donations to starving animals etc). The fandom is clearly of positive nature and a benefit to its part in the human world even if it is just a fandom.

Most furries I have met are happy cuddly people, they are creative, outgoing and often very active in participating with events. I have seen and read about very bad apple furries, but even though some associate the fandom as being of sexual nature they seem to carry positive effects when it comes to the aid of other people and the fandoms real associations such as donations and charities.

Islam has that exact same problem.

Just like emos. It's the ones that cut themselves just to look cool that give it the bad name. Most emos are just depressed teenagers and most of them actually suffer from depression. As for goths, well I have no respect for them.

Anyways, I don't like people who try to impose their beliefs on me. As with any religion activist, I hate people who criticize me for eating meat or keeping my dog on a leash. The extreme furries can go ahead and be vegetarians and all but they have to realize that I am not one of them.
