PC

What do you all think about the whole PC (politically correct) rave? If you live in the USA you will most definitely know what I'm talking about. No jokes about groups of people, even banning the word "blackboard" because it's "racist", banning the word "black" altogether. Disallowing the term "brainstorm" to be used in schools because it's a slang used by doctors for a seizure, and could be offensive to epileptic children.

Personally, I think this is all horse shit. 99% of the country can't say one term because some whiny little minority decided that it offends them, and the government kisses their asses? Does that make sense? It's of the people, by the people, for the people, not of by and for a small portion of the people but ignore the rest.

I'd love to hear some ideas on this, to know that it's not just me.

Egalitarianism is a joke. Women's rights? Joke. Minority rights? Joke. Discrimination never goes away, it just changes direction. You know what the biggest difference between a Caucasian pride rally and an African pride rally is? African pride is broken up by the KKK, and Caucasian pride is broken up by the government. Especially in America, where the mindset tends to be "me first".

Like, some gay guy walked into a place where a friend works, and asks if they're hiring. Before the rest of this story continues, I asked my friend how the guy looked, and he said completely normal. Friend says no, and then the guy asks if they have any applications. Friend says no, because they're not hiring. Guy says to my friend "Oh, well you just don't want to hire me because I'm gay". Well gee, way to represent the community, if you've made your rounds no wonder people don't fucking want to hire homosexuals. Maybe it's your ridiculous attitude of shoving your homosexuality down peoples' throats, and not the fact that you're homosexual? In which case, they aren't not hiring you because you're a homosexual, they're not hiring you because you're a retarded faggot.

Something else that secular progressives will burn in hell for, apparently in some elementary school somewhere, they banned the kids from playing tag because it was "too competitive". And somewhere, they jump imaginary rope in class because some kids aren't as coordinated as others. And all over the place, everybody gets a ribbon, because we're speshul an talantad and we need to know that. All of it is a total load of bullshit. Competition happens in real life, God forbid it should happen before we get there. They're not coordinated because they're little fucking kids, if they practice they'll get over it faster. Nobody is special unless they can fucking prove it, implying otherwise will probably make them arrogant (unless they are mentally or physically handicapped, in which case they are going to learn to deal with being "special", and probably become better people than people who aren't special).

Oh, and this is funny. I'm not going to get this right, but apparently they don't play dodgeball in some school anymore. The kids instead get to get up and try and do something like X # of pushups, and if they don't, the other kids throw books at them. Gee, foam balls, books. As soon as I figure out which one would probably hurt more to be hit with, if it's books my head is going to explo-- Message interrupted, sender's head has exploded.

Passing a ban like this is like mocking life itself;we exist due to competitiveness.Our existence started by competition.We competed when we were nothing but spermatozoids,and by competing we earned the right to live.

I dont see why anyone sane would think words such as "blackboard" would be racist.The only connection between a negroid and the blackboard is the word black.Which is the perfect word to describe the skin tan of a negroid.It shouldn't be offensive to anyone who has a three digit IQ.

And homosexuals are seriously pissing me off.Gay originally meant joy.Want people to call you gay?Tough luck pal,the term for what you are is a homosexual.Don't get offended when people call you a "homo",heterosexuals don't get offended when someone calls them a "hetero".And if they were offended,well,too bad,the court wouldn't really care.

What cracks me up the most is how some people are so dumb,that in their attempts to disprove diversity the only thing they do is prove diversity.Take hate crimes for example.If i shoot a white man,its a crime.If i shoot a black man,its suddenly a "hate crime".Like all other crimes were made out of love.

Way to fight against discrimination.Pass a law that gives completely different treatment to someone,even though the severity of his crime was morally equal to any other murder.

Its funny that these laws get passed mostly in America.Freedom of speech indeed.

Absolutely. Legally, American Caucasian males are screwed. Women can pull the "sexism/sexual harassment" card, and minorities can pull the "racism" card. Discrimination isn't going away, it's just changing directions. Well, America is full of people that, while they have the absolute best intentions in mind, are completely incompetent. For example, Native Americans. Half the reason they're so complacent (I would have said lazy, but lazy makes it seem like their fault) is because they need to go through several hours of paperwork just to build a fence on their property. They get handed checks or whatever every month (or whatever time period) for nothing. They have no incentive to work; rather, they have the opposite, because everything they do is regulated.

With all of the racism laws I'd imagine whites are more discriminated against than blacks. Kinda ironic really, in trying to prevent racism against black people the white people end up taking the hits. I think the only way to stop racism is to not do anything at all, and let it die, but that will never happen in America. Maybe countries like Britain have a chance, they at least progress in the right direction.

I've never really had a problem with this in Canada, I usually use 'black' (Since really, it's the least offensive of any of them), and no one cares.

And on a sidenote, I'd much rather have the Liberals than the Conservatives in right now >>

I think that the whole black thing is a lot less taboo here than in the states because we didn't enslave, and actually helped them somewhat. But other than that I find Canada more PC. Maybe not, but I think so.

You're kidding, right? Americans that did (If you'll recall, the questionable legality of slavery was what caused the American Civil War) help African slaves generally helped them escape to Canada. Canada is more politically correct, yes, but they're not secular-progressive about it, and secular progressives are the people that make politically correct a bad thing instead of what it should be, which is just the normal thing.
