Life after Death

Many of your answers are based on the fact there is such thing as the soul, I personally don't think so.

You got your mind, your brain. you are the sum of your memory, and your thoughts.
Take your brains and manage to implant it into another body, and you remain yourself, in another body.

The religion good/evil goes to heaven/hell way of thinking makes no sense, because who are you, or anyone, to judge us for how we behave, we act by the circumstances we are put in, we have little to no control over them. besides, eternal punishment jest because <god/angel/whatever> doesn't like your personality? isn't that far grater evil that most humans EVER did?

There is probably something such as a soul that gets recycled. Afterdeath you get asigned a new body and reborn, however it may not be here on earth or evenin this universe. You may be reborn in an alternative reality with different laws of physics or where magic may exist for all we know. However the truth will always remain a mystery as what happens to us afterdeath will always be your secret as no one will ever be able to find out.

My friend once mentioned liking an idea that was similar to Eastern Buddhism; basically, in your next life, you are reincarnated as a person that is almost the opposite of your last personality; if you were a ditz, you're reincarnated as someone clever, nerds become sporty, etc. Nirvana is achieved when you have lived all ways you can.

P.S: Most non-Western nations believe in reincarnation.

Well how about this: in a Swe movie they say that after death, you are born again as the living being that you most want to be. Example: some dude walks around wishing he was a frog. Thus not paying attention to traffic, and gets killed. Then, 5 minutes later, he cracks the shell of a frog-egg. That would indeed be awesome. Many ppls want to be ants and Chinese ppls...

Logic says, with no proof around the option that requires the least assumptions is usually right, and the option that requires the least assumptions in religion is atheism.

(If you don't know: Atheism is the belief that there is no such thing as god or any other divinity..)

By your logic, I don't have one.
Also by your logic, people who lived before empirical science would have to assume God does exist, since they can't explain anything.

Is God the option of least assumption? Go back to the beginning of time, what caused the Big Bang? What caused God?
We'd have to make an assumption about how the universe came out of nothing, since that contradicts physics, while God, being the creator of everything, would be beyond the laws we can find in this universe, making his existence require no assumption.

If there is no proof, you say you don't know. You don't have to have an opinion on everything.

Think about why this question is asked in the first place, what happens to us after death?
What are we that something should happen to us after death, besides being a chemical reaction rotting in the ground?

That's the problem, you assume you are something beyond chemical reactions, but we are not.
As sad as it is, we don't really have a choice over anything. everything we say or do, or even THINK is the result of a chemical reaction that has only one option of what way to go.

Lest start with a simple chemical fact:
From every given situation, only one result may occur.
As long EVERYTHING is the same (even the ordering or atoms, and sub atomic partials, the same to every last detail.), the same thing will happen.

Given that fact, our universe, that is a given situation, from the very beginning of time, only one course of events could have happened. given the starting situation of all existence, and the correct formula, you can calculate what will happen when and how, including people's behavior.

Even the fact I have written this down to you was a given fact from the very beginning of time. we are not souls on a quest, there is no "reward in the afterlife", because all we are in the end, is a result of chemical reactions.
