Anger issues
Today i noted my first major anger issue. If i just had one iq point less, i would have killed my geography professor. Here's the thing. He's a very difficult person to deal with and people complain about him all the time. Today, he asked me a few questions, standard shit, and concluded that i know no shit based on arguments like "i would not have said it that way" or "i did not mean it that way". When i asked him about the correct answer, it was exactly what i said, just said in a lot more words(aka bullshit). In the end, he gave me 3/5 grades and that kinda pissed me off, considering that i said everything he asked. The thing is, in that moment, i had so much anger and energy inside me, i felt like i could splat him all over the walls etc etc, but since i restrained myself from killing him, my anger crippled me completely. I had no will to talk him into reason. If you have any sane ways of resolving anger issues, i could really use an advice for future reference.

I sometimes have problems like this as well. I suspect that everyone does, at one point or another.
I find that it really helps, when someone says something that makes me angry, to put myself in their shoes and try to figure out why they said it. It is important to realize that people are not objects. They have motivations and reasons for everything they say and do. If you can understand those motivations and reasons, you can understand what they do and say, and why do they do and say it.

I come from croatia, we like really long sentences there ^^. That's a good way to go Simon, but i kinda had no will for that. All i wanted was to end his life. I got over it tho.

Chill, we are human. More than once I wanted to crucify my philosophy and my maths teacher, but hell, my future is more important to me than getting a moment of pleasure, and so is yours (I suppose you consider it like that).
You can always grab a textbook, highlight the facts that support your arguments and show them to your teacher, preferably in front of all your fellow students. Trust me, there is nothing more humiliating for a teacher than being proven wrong by a student in front of others.

Some people are too dumb to understand their own mistakes. For some, no matter what you do, sheep will be incorrect while 4-leg wooly grass-eating animal will be correct.

Unless you have a textbook or an offical document saying that a "4 legged wooly grass-eating animal is a sheep".

First off I wouldn't ask a bunch of random dudes on the internet, I'd go and get professional help if I thought I could use it.
Everyone has that little voice that tells you to do things you would never want to do. If you struggle ignoring it, you might want help, but to me you didn't seem to have any really unusual response. You didn't act, and you chose the right thing to just not respond to him. There are going to be worse times in life, you just have to learn to deal with it. Be Happy, Don't Worry.

You have to take control of the situation. Use powerful words and if your arguments have enough sense you can even try talking down to him.
And remember, using words like clearly, <opinion> or obviously, <opinion> is very good.

It is pretty strange, i can't seem to get really angry, only agitated. Mostly i just walk away or punch the guy (depending on if its a teacher or a moronic rapster). I have quite some of those teachers and mostly, i make some subtle reactions during class, it mostly cheers me up.

Go ahead and argue (preferrably in a calm way, angry rants always sound retarded). If the class is behind you you'll have support, I guess.

Not particularly caring about marks is a good way to deal with this sort of thing, I find. I can't say I ever have severe anger problems, but perhaps that sort of thing is why.

Count to ten. Seriously, if you manage to make it a habit, you'll be able to cool off pretty fast.
Just close your eyes (if possible, depending on the situation), think of dandelions or something, then count to ten in your head. But do it slowly. You'll find your anger has waned significantly. This worked for me.

If his teacher is a prick like most of my teachers are, sadly, I don't think it'll work. Tutors have started applying the "I'm the teacher, thus anything I say is true by default, and if you try to reason with me, I'll just call you a smartass" bullshit recently. For example, my Christianity teacher is obviously wrong when she says that the world was savage and full of killing to the day when Jesus came along, and then "it was all replaced with love and blah blah". I kindly point out the inquisition, the bloody crusades, the world wars, and get a 1 (equivalent of an "F") for "Being impolite, uneducated, and not understanding the concept of Christ". Don't even get me started on what happened when I told her that I prefer the concept of Buddhism.

Meh, i've been facing similar problems with my Christianity teacher so i switched to ethic classes instead. That launched her right through the roof but people take her psychical blindness by default which is not the case with the geography guy. He's just a slug. Btw counting kinda puts me to sleep, depressing :P But thanks for the advices, i think they are all great but i guess i have to figure out what works for me, by myself.
