Will the reapers replace the firebats? I hope not. Firebats are freakin tight. Some of the units I felt were simply out of place. The omgwtf mech Thor was a little over the top in terms of looks. I preferred the old ghost looks, but the marine is fucking awesome. These are only a preview, so I shouldn't be saying too much, but I really want to see more remade originals.

I want my f*cking wraiths back please, not some god damn transformer. F*ck no.

Otherwise the stuff is f*cking cool, i want medics tho.

I think the viking replaced the valkyries. Wraith was replaced by the cobras.

The banshee is awesome, kind of like a multi-purpose gunship much akin the the modern-day Hind-D after all, the valkarie was retarded and preety well useless in most situations.

The cobra, i dunno, u would like it more if it had larger wings. ATM looks like a hover tank *Still usefull for Scumedit maps though i guess due to it looking good on land air and water*

The main reason i loved wraiths was: 1: they looked like zippy little fighters (viking is a fat ass in comparison)

2: They had those Pew Pew Lazors !!!! Rofl seriously i want them back ! carry on the legend lol.

Aww crap. Firebats were so awesome and well familiarized... now they're replaced with someone else that has tanks on their back and dual weaponry.. IMHO, Bats > Reapers.

Valks were pretty tight if they could still attack. Make a mass of them and watch them die without even attacking. Stupid sprite limit or whatever..

You shouldn't compare viking with wraith, seeing as how the viking looks more like a valkyrie that transforms into a mech loads better looking than thor. Compare the cobra with the wraith. They're both zippy little fighters, and because the cobra has dual railguns, it will have "pew pew lazors" as well. If I have hate in my heart, it's for the Thor. Way too much omgwtfmechapwnage and not enough practical unit design. I definitely do not like the skulls on the reaper's jetpacks nor the gas masks. The marine is fucking awesome, but I would definitely like to see my favorite unit, the SCV. They should bring in starcraft: ghost units like the vulture with the laser. The starcraft: ghost designs of the ghost are way better.

Those terran vehicles remind me about those lame robots from Empire Earth.

Watch some of the demo's and videos you'll see that the Terran SCV is back and pimped out to the max ! Please don't compare the cobra to the wraith, the cobra does not look space worthy, its design sucks while the wraith looks like a space faring fighter. The only way its lazers would apeal to me if they made a "Pew" kind of sound when they fired and looked like a lazer beam, then i suppose i could be fine with it, my hate rests squarely on the Cobra i guess since even the Viking fits in with the terrans mobile armour sort of style (not feeling the whole bad-ass military thing comming from it though).

Meh, its pointless to argue over such trivial matters, eventualy someone will model the wraith and extracting SC sounds has never been easier, so i shall wait and when the day comes to begin SC2 modeling, ill make my request.

The cobra has railguns. Those are actually pretty much like gauss rifles, but i'm almost certain they're going to make them look like lasers, like most other games (quake 4, cnc renegades, etc.)

Yep rail guns are like lasers. They go through everything in the path of their shot too, so you can reallty wreak havoc with them. And you can beat the crud out of your guys too but wth.

rail guns are like really f*cking fast bullets, essentialy energy is built up to an extreme point, then released very quickly in a general direction of the target. the idea is that when energy moves at an extremely fast and hot speed, it creates some kind of mass, allowing that mass plus the energy and heat around it plus the speed of the projectile to eventualy breach almost any hull.

Since the main thing we will see it shooting is the energy, it will likely look like giant lazers/globby plasma like energy being thrown from it.

So yeah, they will probably look like lasers i guess. i dunno i still hate the cobra when SC2 comes out im editing it to be a hover tank or car or something.
