Starcraft II

What do you want in Starcraft II Editor?

I want the following:

Better GUI coding

Better Jass functions

Better game graphics

Campaigns

Non-melee Maps.

Moved to SC2 forum.

I wonder if the SCII Editor would be better than W3. You can go through more codes and more. =)

The inventory will be implemented as well as wc3's leveling feature. Karune stated that himself in a thread about DoTA should be possible. That thread is now long gone...

I only want a lot more features. The terrain should be a part of the object editor. Nothing more.

Dota on Starcraft... nice.

Lets hope that SC2's DotA wont turn out to be so terrible and god awfull as Wc3's one, aye ? Who knows maybe they'll ditch DotA entirely and just remake Aeon of Strife (the original).

I really hope the public doesn't just play 1 custom map but variate it a bit.

I second that.
DotA is fun (IN MY OPINION), but it can get annoying seeing as all custom games are 70% DotA and 5% DotA ripoffs.

And also, why does every Sc2 thread get DotA involved?

Perhaps because almost all map makers who discuss about Starcraft II despite/hate/dislike DotA for dominating the custom list?

So true... so true...

I think dota should be left to die. It has been around for a long while and is kinda fading.

As much as i would love for the above to be true.

DotA will be around for a long time, better to just get used to it...

Most W3 gamers I've seen love dota... Wonder what's so good about it.. You do the same things all over again. Hope SC2 Would have another game that's a little similar to that kind of game (HD) with more units and fun things..

I love melee maps more than DotA.. Love the thrill on buildings and peasants... Peonnn!

IF SCII would be more advanced than WCIII, I would be happy to be a map-maker.

New types of games for me:

Resistance - Terran vs. Zerg

AVP - Terran vs. Zerg. vs. Protoss

There is a good chance that there will be a DotA SCII, because there's just so many people that love it and get addicted to it.
I just hope instead of DotA, they recreate Aeon of Strife!

I guess only time will tell on what will be the fate of StarCraft II's Maps.
