Quake 4 any good ?

Its been a while since Quake 4 was released, but after playing doom 3 an ET:QW i feel thats its only right to play Quake 4, has anyone else got the game and if so any opinions on its worth and the gameplay it provides ?

Well the engine is still the doom3's but it improves some. Like their rendering. Gameplay is the same but the atmosphere is different sometimes. I got bored after playing a while. I advice you to try it though.

It's an alright game, though I think I like Quake Wars better personally.

Cool, i loved doom 3, i like the engine they used for a number of reasons
1: easy to mod
2: can spawn npc's (HUGE feature I look for in FPS's)
3: good gfx (everything is SHINY !)
4: some of the best lighting ive ever seen excluding Xbox360 releases (halo 3)

So yeah, lookin forward to this.

Just don't play it on a console.

I hear you, this game.. and engine for that matter is DEFINITELY made for computer play.

Edit: Lol, dude im already making a mod for this and i dont even have the game. XD
