Activision confirms Call of Duty 5
Activision has announced that Call of Duty 5 is in the making, which they announced in an announcement released yesterday which can be read here. The confirmation is not really unexpected, as the CoD franchise has always been a success. Details concerning Call of Duty 5 has not yet been revealed though.
Probably Treyarch will be developing the game. It's already known that Infinity Ward will not be developing the game. Activision announced they want to bring out a new Call of Duty game every year.

You mean, exactly like Battlefield Bad Company?
Grenades don't tear holes through walls: rockets, explosive charges and tank shots do.

i will miss those FPS WW2 games from Activision
and I hope they will turn back to ww2 style the moderen stuff sucks

WW2 games are so numerous, you don't need another WW2 Call of Duty.
Seriously, World War 2 games are getting extremely old.

moderen FPS games have fast gameplay
When you play cod4 or UT you don't know where you are it happend to fast all around you :S

Call of Duty was always fast and intense... this isn't something new in CoD4.

That would suck so much.
World War 1 didn't have snipers, or any decent tanks, or even machine guns (as in, those we know today which are handheld).

WW1 would be cool
Missions:
Charge and live
set up barbed wire, and all that good stuff and defend
defend via machine gun
Plane missions
Run over everything with your tank mission
Take out targets with snipe
Etc
