Haste Tricks For World Editing

okay here is some good tricks that i know:
1.first dont think of units,heroes and buildings just edit terrain
2.write good ideas for map down on paper
3.do the triggers at end if u are gonna test custom abilities,heroes,units and buildings
.4 when u have finished terrain place some units,buildings and heroes and see if it would be nice with more terrain
.5 when testing cinematics do ALL OF THEM because u can get pretty bored testing every single time

Hmm, to tell the truth I disagree with many of your points. It all depends on what map your doing: if the map your making is based around triggers and triggered abilites or a 3-d bullet system, then do that first.

For a RPG, or diplomacy map then yes in many cases the terrain and units/quests should be completed first.

As to the cinematics, I don't really know.

okay i mostly think of maps that doesnt involve so many triggers so new people might could use this
