Idea Music contest
well i thoght an idea that we could have a music contest.
The contest will be is write a music and could sing the music.
it can be one or 4 people working a song.They are able to use any interment as they like.

This relate to wc cause there is a Sound / Music Art for music and Screenwriting, Storyboarding & Concept Creation to write lyrics.

Well what do you think of this idea.

Modeling Competition #6 Winner: Epic Azrael 

I like the idea.

Singing and music is an art form just like modeling and skinning...And we have not yet seen what talent in voice this site has to offer...in the open at least.

No one makes music, and it requires instruments or at least a good synthesiser.

Animating and SFX are good ideas for contests so more people get into it, but music is incredibly hard. Drop the idea.

Hard, but some here do make music. And I think it would be a wonderful idea to get into it.

And if they require a good synth. Look up Psycle and its plugins.

I'm only good at making chiptunes. So if there will be a contest with that theme (minus singing), I might be in.

oh yeah, about singing...make it optional. Focus should be on the melody imo.
And this could be made warcraft related by adding a theme, like make some ambient music for...umm...whatever region is there in warcraft or something. Or for a specific race.

I propose the following guide lines:

Singing: Optional

Theme: (whatever is decided)

Information: (post the song, WIPS, and what the music was made with, ect)

Inspiration: Optional, this includes what style you based it on, genre inspiration, ect.
