MDL Editing Contest!
So, its spring. Nice and nostalgic, huh? Let's have some fun

ELEMENTALS CONTEST 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

Seeing as the Hive actually HAS a successful contest section that isn't just brought into life for a few weeks only to die again (Like with Search's!), I'm gonna try this baby here

The concept is simple, and is based off some of the work of Alfred

He's made a bunch of elementals just via notepad and animated textures

The task of this contest is to do similar

1. Take the basic Water Elemental model
2. Do all sorts of things to it via texture changing, giving new affects, etc, etc, to get it to look Completely Different
3. ???
4. Prize!

(Don't ask about the prizes, seriously. I could just use my EPIC PRIZE, but no)

Lets see how this bounces around

Also isn't this a bit repetitive since the current model competition is elementals?

Anyways, this contest, isn't it a bit overkill to have 2 modeling competitions at once, both being based around elementals? I mean mdl editing is allowed in the general modeling competition aswell I guess?

Modeling Competition #8 Winner: Trogre Behemot 

I'm quiet bored of elemental but you're Mecheon so it's awesome.
And anyway the model comp 9 has quiet diverted from elemental somehow.

Mines not so much "Elemental" as "Manipulating an existing model", which just so happens to be an elemental. Main reason being that many other things, such as footmen and what not, kinda limit you in terms of what you can do, unless you want to play around with UV coords in the mdl file and lets just stop there because that's complex
