Independent Mapping Contest #1

Basics:

You cannot have a partner for this mapping contest. You may make a map of any genre, and any size. Campaigns are not allowed. You must make this map from scratch, you cannot base it on another map. You cannot have started this map before the beginning of the contest. You may use resources from websites, but you must give credits to the creator in the map, or in the post in which you attach the map or give a link to the map you have submitted. Good luck, and have fun (if this is approved)!

Judging:

Multiplayer Judging:

[Gameplay:] You will be rated out of a 25 point scale.
[Triggering:] You will be rated out of a 15 point scale.
[Depth:] You will be rated out of a 15 point scale.

Singleplayer Judging:

[Gameplay:] You will be rated out of a 25 point scale.
[Triggering:] You will be rated out of a 15 point scale.
[Depth:] You will be rated out of a 15 point scale.



Rewards:

1st Place - 25 Reputation Points + Reward Icon
2nd Place - 15 Reputation Points
3rd Place - 10 Reputation Points
4th Place - 5 Reputation Points
Honorable Mention - 5 Reputation Points

This is just a basic outline for a contest, if you approve it you can fill in the blanks.

Sounds nice. I think I can do this at the same time as the Hero Mini-contest :p. I'm good at mapping but the map doesn't always become that good. Can I make custom models/icons for the map?
