Ideas for Modeling Competion #7

So the last one ended early November. And I don't see anything here about a new one being planned yet, so I've barged in unwelcomed, put a gun to your collective heads, and said 'Think up some ideas, or else!'

I think some fun themes we haven't used could be:

Demonic
Elven
Jungle-related
Footsoldiers of any kind/race
Icecrown Units
Critters


Now it's your turn. Ideas! Now!

The current modeling competition is Special Effect Competition #1!

Chriz. is busy hosting that one. Look for another modeling contest to begin soon, based on staff recommendations and input in this thread.

My two cents goes for wards.

Well, alright then. I'll look at previous contests and figure out some ideas, then see which one people are interested in the most.

Elemental
Siege Weapon (catapult, battering ram, etc)
Futuristic
Icecrown/Northerend
Wards (as suggested by Wolv)
Fodder unit (weak basic unit for a race)
Chimera (two or more creatures into one being)

Well i can't model for crap but i vote for Icecrown/Northerend since there is a skinning contest going on using the same theme :P.

Which is sort of what I was trying to avoid, but if its popular enough I'll do it.

Future would be cool too since people are always requesting marines and etc.

i suggest northrend/icecrown doodads pack!

Hmm, I would rather see doodad pack of any tileset, not just one themed.

I obviously vote for siege weapons (doh!), although foot soldiers or any/specific race (or specific profession) would not be a bad idea.

and i vote for siege weapons too :D

Doodads have already be done (technically it was a neutral building, but many did doodad packs)

I vote for something awesome.

What a contest replicating characters/doodads from some cool game of the past. Could be fun to see who could create the coolest looking characters from Grim Fandango or some other great game of the past.
