Contest Rules And Conditions

1. No submission may violate any Hive Workshop site rules.
2. All submissions must be made using Apophysis 2.07 beta Or Apophysis 3D hack
   • Plugins are allowed
3. All backgrounds must be black or alpha
4. All submissions must be made after the contest starts
5. No image editing software can be used
6. All submissions should be uploaded as a .png

Prizes And Winnings

First Place: 50 rep and award icon Second Place: 20 rep Third Place: 10 rep

Judging
All entrys shall be judged by a public poll (100% of vote)

Deadline
Each render must be complete and submited four weeks after the contest begins.
The contest shall begin on <XX Month 2007> and conclude on

<XX Month 2007 0:00 AM, GMT). >

It's spelt "Apophysis".

And personally I think an apophysis thing should be more of a Challenge instead of a Contest.

Well we can call it a change but its more of a contest in my eyes

So it's to see who can randomly make the "coolest looking thing"?

Well yes at least these contests shouldn't give that high prizes and should be done on other forums,like brad.dude used to do with story writing contests.

If this thing passes, why not have contests to design say new particle textures for Warcraft. There are only so many... Besides, it would benefit the community in the way that new models could be born from these textures.

Then how did a transformers concept win? Also most of the other entries were robots, seeing as the theme was mechanical.

Because RDZ was making a wc3 model out of it.
EDIT: also 50 rep is waaaaaay too much for something like this. Maybe 20/10/5 at most if this is approved.
