Yes actually. In fact, Saitek009 is working on that system right now. Only thing is, instead of showing your character in the middle, it'll show a bunch of your stats such as resistances and attack power.

But bether character then some stats :/ but it is still kinda cool for u to have that system.

It is impossible to make the character in the equipment system, that is why we went to stats as a resort. Plus its more helpful.

We haven't added a trade system and I don't think we'll be working on that for a while since it really isn't anything major. But if we do add it, we'll most likely add a cool window to go with it like in WoW.

Have you considered this?: Instead of putting a model in the window, it can display artwork. For example theres a set picture for each race/gender, it stands still, doesn't move and is 2D. When you add clothing, all it does is change picture. This requires a massive amount of artwork I know but it could be an option.

We can do it with screenshots of regular models as well to save the artists a lot of time, but even that is out of the question. Too much time can be wasted with that. Besides, displaying stats is more important anyway. If you want to see what your character looks like, just look at him! You have a camera system which allows you to adjust the angle and rotation, so you can look at him/her in any way, really.

Saitek009 (The one who is currently creating the Inventory and Equipment Systems) reported that the two systems will take a few weeks until they are ready for testing. He also reassured me that there is a good chance that he'll have enough work done by the end of this weekend or next weekend to show off some Work-In-Progress screenshots of what he's got done so far. The attachment system might not be added right away, so don't expect to see a character decked-out in armor just yet.

Couldn't you somehow make a mod that displays Hero index;(number of owner of triggering unit) at the inventory screen?
