Import WoW tiles or not? (NO)

LoL, i ve found out that each tile takes 180kb (so it's good quality) and some of them have problems with wrapping (witch can be fixed somehow)

so, are you for or against?

*soon i will post wrap and ingame of mullgore tiles witch craca wants so bad*

In this case, the size is mot problem, is most important the quality, so a more defined tilesets benefits the eye candy.

Thanks, HappyTauren. It's wrapping isn't that great, but if you could fix it to make it look better then that's great :)

As long as they are wrapped really well I'm fine with it.

k :) anyway, heres secret anyone can use:

1. extract thick grass texture with some mpq appliction
2. convert to tga
3. open it in gimp
4. colorize image so it's completely black
5. start paint
6. resize exported wow tile to 1/4 of 256X256
7. mirror them in both dimensions
8. copy all from paint
9. use "sellect by color" in gimp
10. set treshold(yea, my spelling) to 10
11. sellect transparent area
12. invert sellection
13. paste
14. convert to blp
15. import into wc3
NOTE: NEVER SET QUALITY TO HIGH! SET IT IN RANGE OF 75-85, otherwise blp could crash map (lol this is funny) and size would be retarded ;)

Happy, one of those tiles is completely off from the others and it shows out very much, you should fix that!

Or maybe you should let nas say what he wants, and stop assuming things.

Well WoW textures ARE better than Nas's, no offense intended. Although his textures go great with the models, I'm just saying that it'd be best to use extracted tilesets.
